Ogre Belt Tests, Elven Spirits

BlueMarlin on Test server caught me while I was hunting for information on the new quests and helped me do the Ogre's Belt Test.

I'll just cut to the conclusion this time instead of boring you with the methodology. Same technique as last time, Ogre's Belt is +780 weight.

To resummarize, the ways to increase your carrying are:

Amulet of STR/Amulet of CON/ESS of CON/CON Helmet/RKS = +0 or +150*
Monarch's Cloak/Power Gloves = +150
Staff of Force = +150 or +300*
Decrease Weight = +180
STR spell = +300 or +450*
Troll's Belt = +540
Ogre's Belt = +780
* = depends on your STR/CON

Next stop: Titan's Belt.

Elemental Spirits

BlueMarlin is also one of the first few elves on Test to get the Elven Spirits. According to BlueMarlin, the test is easy (+8 Sayha, -60 AC), so if that says anything its that it's not impossible. She walked around a bit, the Spirit of Earth slowly followed behind. It's level 30, 410 HP and looked like a little yellow scribble following her. It seemed to be about the speed of an unhasted player. However, there are differences among the Spirits. For example, Water had 450 HP and Earth had 410 HP. However, in a duel between them, it was a draw. (This implies Water is slower).

Based on rumors we have heard, they all follow at the same speed (unhasted player), Water and Wind are a pair and Earth and Fire are a pair (5-10% faster at hitting).

the quest do i also get another elven tshirt?

do the elmentals do more dmg to elts say
if i have water elemental will it kill a fire golem faster then a fire elmental?

tweak, after amer left I dueled the earth elemental on a level 23, 5 ac +0 sls knight. It won with 210 HP left, but thats not much, considering I sucked :P

I want my, I want my, I want my L.E.S. (Lesser Elemental Summon). I have 2 lvl 45+ elves waiting for it (lvl 45 con elf and lvl 47 dex elf). Doh! I forgot to take the lvl 15 quest with my lvl 47 elf...Guess I'll be doing that tonight ^_^.

Note: A lvl 23 knight with a +0 sls can still hurt, but that is not too great for it to lose 200 hp. I hope NC beefs them up a bit.
Now I have to get both of my high lvl elves to lvl 50+, so I can summon greater elementals :).

hm, I wonder if you quit your line of magic after you complete the quest, but don't learn the sc, if you can get it again. ooo, have more than one, sell to ppl who can't do it

The summon is so weak~~ the wind summon did 5hp per hit on my -3 ac knight.

They have more hp then mage summons!!! they probable hit harder 2...

Thought mages were called mages because they can do the best magic, but i think NC should call Elves --> mages Instead and call Mages --> Monks or something. cause all they can do is fight bare handed and some lousy magic tricks. Why not put in immune to harm in as a elf spell and let elfs throw with some nice vulcanic rock they call from nature... that would be soooo nice =P

you guys miss the point mages can have 2-3 elves only get one and by what I see the elemental isnt really even all that strong until the greater elemental which takes shape and I think has ranged attack.

Fire=strongest (worste hp)
Earth=2nd best (a tad better hp)
Wind=weakest (best hp)
Water=2nd weakest (better hp)

By that data provided by droidbuilder we can assume they are meant to fit their roles wind is weakest cause it is more of a "distraction" from the dex elf than anything else. Fire is strongest for simple fact that it must be a melee elf and therefore it has to fight along with the elf. 40-50 hp in my opinion is not as good a summon that can do more damage.

i'm a dex elf and if i really wanted to do more damage with my summon then i would go fire but i like being water ever though i hardly use it it's alot better then wind right now due to the wind shot bug of it doing 1 damage and i've already been earth and i wont go back because i don't want to be hit up for e-skin every 3 seconds. but i love the new summons i can't wait till they come to live then i may hunt fi for kicks maybe get something good.

Plus we gotta remember these are lvl 30 summons so what comes next... lvl 40 summons! I expect a lot harder quests in the future that involve greater elementals and such.

lesser elemental = lvl 30 greater elemental = 50 i think something like that i want many elven t-shirts ^^

No lesser elemental is a lvl 40 spell meaning the summon will be 10 times lower than the spell you can get it at. Lesser elemental crystal learned at lvl 40, elemental is lvl 30. greater elemental learned at lvl 50, elemental is lvl 40. I think by the strength posted earlier of the greater elemental that it might actually be a little higher than lvl 40 though.

Guys the fire elemental is more powerful for another reason I think, if the group spells bless of fire and things like that also affect your elemental then its damage would again be enhanced. It would be a real team.

Well if you people think about this, fire elemental is the strongest but its the worst in fire vally :) but best in dragon vally.

Water elemental is the best in fire vally because most of the mobs there are fire based and the elemental's attack is based on water ;)

Hmm...with this data my con elf may go fire, but I really like not using pots ^_^. Going fire also means no FV for me...Only DV, and every place that fire mops are not around...

there is no abuse on elven quest if u change lines u keep the lesser spell and CAN NOT retake it. i changed to fire from earth just now and i did not lose my spell nor did i have to retake teh quest. but either way im fine iwth it.

if you guys need help come to test and either ask me (Everlastin) or another elf to switch elements and show you. i will be glad to show you if you need the prove but i wont be on for long tonight.

Oh it was really easy to make elven quest? hmm i wonder what difference there can be between -60ac & +8sayha vs +6xbow/yumi & -50ac/-40 (dex or con) hehe sp i guess ya it was easy.... for HER =P

Just completed Eleven Quest with my Level 37 Elf. I used a +5 hunter bow,-40ac and 25 oranges. I just concentrated on Darkmar and let the other elementals smack me. Didn't take very long. Now I have to level to 40 to use the summon :)
