Scavenger Hunt scoring example

A quick note to address a point of confusion: "Can you take multiple trips to get your stuff?". The answer is no. I repeat: You can only use ONE TRADE WINDOW.

You cannot show your eye meat, then go back and get your spirit gems. One trip, one score. If you can't carry it, that's part of the contest.

Eye meat is heavy and you can buy it. Letting you show your eye meat and then go back and get other stuff wouldn't be a challenge. It would be a "let me buy eyemeat" contest.

Here is an example of what you should do. A single trade window with as much as you can fit on it.

Its just basically a constest on who can hold the most crap... Its easy to get most of the stuff and the only problem that restricts the winners from the losers is how much they can carry. Even the reporters have limits too, so I guess that would be why they keep saying its not a contest who can hold the most... You (the people at LC) probably should have thought a bit more about the items in the contest, and chose ones that didnt weigh anything, and *you couldnt buy in stores*! It really doesnt make any sense to limit the winners to how much you reporters can carry... that seems a bit "unprofessional", well,not like this contest is that much professional anyway... lol

dang, so many whiners.
Mailan, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only thing that can be bought in stores is floating eye meat...which weighs a lot.
spirit gems, scrolls, ele stones, don't weigh that much.
I think this is a good contest of trying to figure out how much of which items you should use. you never know how much floating eye meat someone is going to use, so I wouldn't put any of that in, and max out on the others.

Actually natlswim, like K-ZS-M said, you can buy opaques and hard leather too...

Opaques and hard leather weighs a freaking ton too... and when you have as many spirit gems and elemental stones as me, trust me, it weighs too much to put into one trade window.

I just think this contest wasnt fully thought out, but my opinion does not matter, so who cares? apparently I do T_T

Well...it's odd that there are different people judging, because they may have different carrying capacities themselves. Also, if the judges are wearing con/str ammy, ogre belt, use str enchant or reduce weight, while others do not, then it screws it up even more.

To be consistent, all the judges would have to have the same stats and no items that affect carrying capacity.

Old scrolls are stackable.

And just to rub in the "I told you so", the person winning on Dep (so far) had the most SODA, Old Scroll and Opaques. (Enough for even my STR 9/CON 10 mage to carry). The person winning on Ken (so far) has the most Hard Leather, SODA and 3rd in Old Scroll.

But keep on talking about weight capacity. :)
