Giants

Lineage Playforum reports on hunting Giants (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3236, http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051003&kid=1681) Twilight Mountains will probably be known as "the Giant area" since that's what spawns there in Episode 12. There are 3 Giants and a Giant Boss (the "Giant series") and they are all among the cliffs of the Twilight Mountains.

The Giant Series drop Belt of Body, Mind and Soul and give lots of experience while not being aggressive. They also drop Plate Mail, Enchant Scrolls and Magic Gems. In addition they can deal about 100-300 HP on certain strikes.

The Giant Boss causes an Earthquake with one of his strikes and actually shakes the ground (your screen). It's a prime hunting spot for elves since (1) Giants are slow (2) Giants are passive (3) there are cliffs you can shoot from.

hopefully no one goes there? did you read the advantages to these things...its going to be ELF WAR there...i bet its going to be second most camped spot in game...i bet there is a suprise waiting around there...like 10 DE's will spawn all of a sudden and just hunt down all the unsuspecting campers MUHAHAHA

Earth ring do some protection cause one uses EarthQuake... But elf don't have to worry cause they have high MR already.

lol knowing NCI boss will prolly spawn once a month !!! or drop a belt once a year....

dont get too pumped up, NCI us will destroy this update like everything else

why u guys think we dont have the lvl 30 quests yet, couz they "looking" into it... sjure they looking for some way to nerf it...

NCI korea can use it as it is, shoudnt be hard to add to us servers, but noooo they need to "edit" it..

Anyone know if they deteriorate weapons? I don't think so, but they look like the kind of monster that would. Might make the damascus come up in price a bit... or g-axe even.

So what are the monsters in the mountaisn after the giants are killed? I hope the giants spawn like regualar mops instead of bossses. Cause hats jsut gonna plain suck. You have to be lucky to get a boss.

probably there's some drawbacks on that place for sure...

u can still go shooting from a cliff in fv
they never disabled that

the mountains look like dv
thought they would be abit more creative in design

the only problem probably will be large amount of giants will come at u
meaning your death if all swing at u at once

look at the friggin size of the giant boss
we're like the size of its leg
hope it drops titan belt
