7/31 Korean Live Server update

Lineage Playforum reports (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051003&kid=1255) that the following updates have been made to the live Korean servers on 7/31:

Newbie monsters in Hidden Valley and Singing Island have had level adjustments.
Dog collar icons now appear after the name of tamed dogs to identify them.
Sayha's bow has been improved.
The level display has now been expanded from (for example)
Level: 47 35%
to
Level: 47 35.57%
Orc scout polymorph is now available.
Princes can now use Helms of Magic (Speed, Power, Heal).
Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Lineage Playforum also noted an undocumented change: Skeleton Axeman can now wear all armor. We're not sure if its an oversight, but the Playforum article mentioned that this change has been on Korean Test for some time now.

Sweet updates, I really want the percent update to come to US servers.

I bet Marak is going to hit lvl 52 a lot quicker if the hom's come.

With our luck NC will chose to not include any of this update, but instead choose to add some undesirable element on the Korean servers.

But here's hoping. Both the exp and HOM would make me very happy.

If skeletal axeman morph goes full ac on the live servers so should bapho/beleth morphs, otherwise it makes axeman a better morph than bapho/beleth- as they are practically the same in every respect currently except with axeman you cant wear as many items as bapho/beleth. I lose 21 ac with bapho/beleth morph.

My guess is, it's either a bug or just for their test server and/or bapho/beleth morph will go full ac if this is implemented on live/production servers.

Death Knight isn't much better than skel axeman morph if they do this. Skel axeman can run much faster and hit almost as fast too.

Skeleton axeman hits as fast as normal knight. It just runs fast. I think or morph page on www.lineagecompendium.com will show you that. i believe we have it down for -1% of reg knight haha

hmmm... prince use HOM's?..not good... prince's have pledgemates that can cast spells for them.. princes are suppose to be for teamplay thats why they getting new magic too...

I like the percent update though

...if prince go on xp hunts every time with pledge members, the prince wont get squat on the xp since they hit so badly comparing to all other classes

and for higher lv prince you'll need to solo to get xp like the rest of the players in knight, elf, and mage

and hom's most likely the power helm will be used since it's the best thing for them - -"...i dont see the problem them having hom's since they sucks at combat so why not give them something like the knights to improve their ability to fight monsters and get xp

now if nc would be better to balance the game, remove the knight's ability to use the hom's since they can use the scrolls and then that would be good

Have you ever played a prince? I think giving prince the HOM's is one of the best things NC has 'ever' implimented. Prince was the only class that can't str/dex himself. And, if knights are getting all the enchant spells, why shouldn't prince too? Do you always hunt with ur members if u are a prince? I'm sure most of them would prefer some private hunting time. Therefore, you can't ALWAYS get pledge mates to enchant you.

And the partying thing is just rediculous. Especially when you're high lvl, no one really party unless they are in siege/dragon hunting.

Yeah #16 Princes/Princesses have a tough time without enchantments and most of the time they hunt solo... and they deserve something for themselves for a change...

I'd like to see orc scout morph for elves with all armor. I'm ambivalent on the skele axeman morph...I could care less either way. Skele archer just plain sux. I would also prefer that the experience be shown in a countdown so you can see how much longer you have until the next level rather than this silly percentage thing they do now.

Id rather them stop adding the useless crap and take out half the stuff they put in that ruined the game :) but I know it wont happen unless everyone cancles there acc. which most likley wont happen ither so i'll live with everything :( why would skel axemen be the best morph if it can wear all ac wouldn't skel or ww still be better.

princes need a special sword that doesn't miss too. they are suppose to be good at fencing. maybe give them a sword like that

two types of "ceptors" would be groovy as well.
ie a "ceptor of tyranny" and a "ceptor or nobility"
cot = better as u go more chao
con = better as u go more law

all in all, i think they should add a couple more benifits to chaoticism.
those gloves are a step in the right direction.
the HOM idea is good and bad at the same time. prince regen mp faster, and can cast more. so they'll be runnin around fully enchanted all the time like it was nothing. maybe use 3/4 mp req as a prince? or have totally seperate helms for the subject, like crowns of magic or something.

as for skele axeman morph, this is bad for all non pks ^^.
#1 advantage of pk is suprise. a knight that runs into ur screen in skeleton morph and right up next to u in under a heart beat is crazy enough. now where the knight can get in and have 1/2 ur hp gone in under a heart beat....could be sorta scary ^^.

party exp doesnt work by damage, the experience of each monster is shared by ALL the members of the party THAT ARE IN THE SCREEN, even if they dont hit, the only thing that makes you get more or less exp is your level and the level of the other party members (tested with the exp program, while it was still "legal" (Mel said that it was ok, but later he said that it was illegal, and i had time to test this ^_^))

ruben, that is correct. However, the party bonus doesn't have major advantages in gaining more exp. The higher lvl players (usually knights) in the pledge would receive a major chunk of the exp gained from killing a monster because of the way partying is set up. Usually (keyword, there's exceptions such as a few high level prince/ss) the prince/ss is a much lower level than the people in the party and they would indeed get squat.

This is good for princes and i dont think its a prob for them to be constantly enchanted since they need it. Also axeman with full ac would be better than every morph (for knights, str mages, and con elves) cept DK.

They'll need to improve the morphs for lvl 50 and 51 now as they aren't as good as the skele axeman.

Mind, they could do with improving morphs for lvl 45 too :/

Ske axeman morph is really fast but it has a problem, when u are using this morph and mop or ppl hit u, they stop u, if a lot of mop are hiting u, u cant move. This thing dont happen with ske morph.

in sieges (especially giran - -")...ppl get bored and morph to those monsters and have fun punching each other to pass time...

tho...ppl would like to have more morph options like to morph into fv mops or oren mops o.o

fv monsters mostly glow o.o....and oren mops r cool...

i wanna morph to DEATH!!!!!! (it IS the reaper right? o.o)

*got chased by 8 deaths yesterday*..all deaths end tho hehehehehe...got weakness >,<

DEIN if Beleth/Bapho will go full ac aswell,
then it's the same as DK morph,
it hits as fast as DR, and with full ac, and walks as fast as DK
so, DK morph would sux then, it wouldnt be worth alot to be lvl 52

skel archer / axeman / pikeman are all full ac!

orc scout is full ac aswell, i have the update already on testserver
(a korean update >.<)

its cool knight +haste +brave in orc scout morph is alot faster then elf
orc scout with haste +brave hits as fast as knight +haste+brave (un morphed)

i use exp programm to repeat stuff in chat like:

i fill in: " &BUYING ROTC!!!!!!!! "
and everytime i kill a monster it sais it one time in chat =) thats handy :P

i mean under the "__ __ ____ALT+F2 " is a centence, delete it and add something new doesnt matter what if u type in it: " i need penis enlargement "
it sais that all the time u kill a mop
if u do @babo it sais babo all the time in pledge chat o.o
if u do &babo it sais babo all the time in world chat
if u do "(ur own name) u whisper urself all the time :P
