Tower of Omen
Jude1004.com (http://lineage.jude1004.com/news/index.asp?pg=/news/view.asp&cts_id=3867) goes on to describe Omen 4-5f are just more intense versions of Omen 1-3f. More Dancing Swords, more Medusa (a strong Ramia, basically, same drops) more Chimera, more Dire Wolf. The Dancing Swords in this animated GIF look faster than they are.

Lineage Playforum (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051003&kid=1670) goes on to say: On 5f there is the Lesser Dragon. It's not alone on 5f, there are still all the other monsters so far. Lesser Dragon is quite strong. Sometimes it hits for 10HP, sometimes over 500HP, instantly killing you. This was observed by a player who had -84 AC! That player noted "What exactly is the purpose of having armor?" Good point.


There is no access to 6f. To get to the insane part of the dungeon, you have to kill a Lesser Dragon and get the Scroll of Teleportation to 6f. This effectively makes Omen Tower two separate dungeons, one of which is only accessible if you kill a strong monster to begin with.

Playforum ventured to the rest of the Dungeon. On 6-8f, we find old favorites like Ghost, Death, Skeleton Fighter, Skeleton Guard, Skeleton Marksman. Add to that Medusa, Nightmare, Dancing Sword and Bone Dragon.

Bone Dragon (you can kind of see it on the right between the Red Ghost and Death) is stronger than the Lesser Dragon.

It gets worse. 9f introduces Lesser Demon, which has this horrible attack here and not only can there be more than one of them, there can be Bone Dragon and friends too. Lineage Playforum says that among the drops (of all the floors) are the blessed enchant weapon/armor scrolls and such, but 6-10f of the Tower is for level 60+ players...

Finally, if you're interested in getting to 10f, the boss is Lich. We totally expected Balrog to be there. In fact, where is Balrog and Doppleganger Boss? And is Ken Rauhel just going to be there for one siege and then never again?

This tower is only for superhighlevels like poseidon .. not for newbie dks like dep players :D , im not harrasing us but this is the pure true , and no way in test servers to taste this place , making wipes is imposible to test how hard is it !!!!!

OMG!!! NCI will have to make it just a lil bit easier for US servers or no one will ever be able to hunt lvl10... How sad! They make these kool new hunting grounds and the majority of US players will never even be able to set foot inside... Gonna take some major team work to handle mops there. Does the scroll only transport 1 person? It should transport an entire pledge or at least an entire party. That would be at least kind of decent. Cuz if not hardly anyone will be able to get there. Unless theres a lot of lesser dragons and theyre hella easy. Or unless they drop like 10-15 scrolls each time they die... Makes me wanna do some hardcore lvling!!!

I believe 1F - 5F is huntable with your pledge and friends
6f - 10F, better get a whole crew with those teleport scrolls
cuz u won't stand a chance alone
would even scare a lvl 52+ character
imagine fighting a lesser dragon, then it all of a sudden does 2 500 HP attacks in a row...
u'll be on the floor and pissed out of your mind...
I'm up for the challenge...
and wonder what the story behind the tower is...

lich will summon more lesser dragons and bone dragons and lesser demons

beating a boss without getting your ass beaten by mops seems virtually impossible from what they r describing

but one thing is for sure...
WHERE THE HELL R OUR LVL 30 QUESTS???????????

considering this is the big episode.....
what r gonna be the new drops and stuff....
there has to be a ton of unique items and stuff...

Jeez guys... i LOVE the fact that there is a 60+ place... you guys have no imagination -.-; I for one remember when people were all terrified at the idea of hunting on FI w/ all these big bad mops that would end whole parties, and now look... its nearly (dare i say it) 'easy' and... why? b/c if there is a will there is a way!, just as this was/is the case with FI, I really do belive that people will hunt there... if it takes all 3 lvl 50+ water elves on our server in a party with all of our dk nights... these mops CAN and WILL be beat... and more people will come!, if it takes a whole damn pledge... people will find a way to survive in this place! I know for sure... the its one of the first places I wanna attempt to go if/when i hit 50 on my water elf =)

All what you said about it being impossible might be true for a lonely player, but as in FI, a hunt party with the apropiate number and levels of players will make it alot easier. I think it is meant for pledge/group hunting

Amer, thanks for all your e12 reporting.

Could you try to get more information from
your Korean Beta Spies on any new mid-level
hunt MOP and areas? That new dungeon sounds
great, but it's way out of reach of average
players like me. I'm much more interested
in knowing if any new areas and MOP will open
up that will take some overcrowding stress
away from places like FV, OWL, DV, etc.

Get Ken Rauhel to siege back every so often! O.O he can bring along throngs of bks and, um, wks, recruit bandit groups and pirates etc, siege as hard as a normal pledge, sometimes take the castle back...

Man you guys are idiots........... with the new alliance system and new maridge system im sure that there will be some exp bonus to hunting with more then one person. ever notice how you can stay down 10 times longer in dvc 6f with a full party? have any of you played everquest? everything is done in groups. and it makes the game alot funner becuase you make friends, join guilds, you play a game with other people. it would be very very easy to do a hunt on anyone of these floors, sure bring res's but simple as this, monsters usually attack the 1st person to hit them or the lowest lvl guy, so give him the most pots, have elfs and mages in the group as well, mages can buff/heal/gain mp when on a break knights tank. its soo simple. you wont be able to walk around like on dvc 6f your gonna find a spot and camp it, well a knight or elf will pull monsters to the rest of the group. this update makes me want to come back and play lineage just for the simple fact that it looks like it will be soo much fun actually having a challenge in this game insted of ohhhhhhhh fire eggs! gogogo...... firearcher googog............ fuck solo-ing, this update is NC's best one yet and if you guys dont think you can fight in those area's your newbs.

Hows it suicide? do you have a telle home scroll? thats what they are there for, if you cant hunt here your a newb. i bet a group of lvl 45 players can last a long time in this area if they know how to play. Me and Tenderizer used to be the only people that could hunt dvc 4f besides akasia and cerenies, and we didnt use any pots at all. wed have to leave to get more arrows. this was like 2weeks after dv was introduced and everyone thought it was sooooooooo hard. man everyone that posts on this site are a disgrace to lineage except some people. im not flameing, im saying grow up, learn how to play the game, once you do that lineage mite actually become fun for you, i quit lineage cuz there wasnt anyplace fun to hunt, my last week was spent hunting dvc 7f in a ghast morph....... and that got boreing too. lineage really needs this update and im glad it came, maybe its time for me to go play my lvl 48mage on dep again and hopefully get him 50+ for this update.

Doom you don't know what's flaming and that's not remotely close to flaming o.O...... You've seen a ton of flaming from me in pledge chats.

Alps is suffering from lin withdrawl o.o, but as mentioned, monsters there are capable of doing big damage in 1 hit so verr ain't gonna work.

lol if you guys dont know who i am, i am Havok,Bones,Scout,FarZap,OutBack,Hurley my elf Scout was the 8th account ever registered onto Lineage, well dep server anyways. that doesnt mean anything but im just saying i know how to play lineage, and i think this update is for the people who know how to use team work and how to play the game, same with the aliance system and maridge system, this new episode is comeing so that people will work togther to make the game more fun,

There's no need to Flame up and start calling people newbs and saying they don't know how to play. Obviously we can't compare to your skill and Lineage playing power... lol... LOL, 60+, well this means some 52 guys party can go there? but u cant bookmark so u have to cross the sewers...then go up till 5, find a scroll, then u tele to 6, 6th floor the place where u last 5minutes, and...well, dont seems very fun to hunt there.

I could agree more with the sentiments posted by Avari and a few other realists.
Just because they mentioned lvl 60+ only does not mean that this place is impervious to group hunts.

FI with more than 6 people bores me to tears and I imagine that this place will be similar to that. May be 8 at first, depending on fear and mop strength.

I am not too worried about it. These bosses will be ended just like the other ones. They have always wanted us to hunt in groups and unfortunatly for established pledges, group hunting sucks in almost every place because you can solo it nicely. The upper level of the tower just forces you to stop being a social lepper and hunt with someone.

i love and always rememeber the times when it takes a whole pledge to hunt in SK caves. lol, we were so frightened to step into 2/F!

i like the idea to hunt in groups, it's just more fun. and if someone likes solo in Omen 10/F, i won't stop him. I'll go with my fds.

i forgot who said 45lvl+ is enough in Omen, but i think it needs at least 50 to survive.

we'll see
the challenge involved here is the high amount of damage the mops inflict
if they didn't hurt a possible 500+ damage per attack
then it wouldn't be so hard
with this in mind
it would scare the lvl 50+ chars in hunting here due to that
unless they r partied with elves and mages to give them a hand

another fact we don't know about
is the speed of these mops
when we know how fast these mops r
we can create a strategy in defeating them
especially for elves and mages

what I only care about
new weapons, new armour, new items, new adventures
hearing the bosses r actually dropping something else besides b-dais, b-zels, belts, rings...
which I'm glad
this episode should also introduce the rest of the spells for mages and elves
if the spells r causing strong inbalances in the game, make the spellbooks very rare
like the bosses in the omen tower 10F would drop it rarely
not an easy place a knight can just run up to, they gotta fight their way through plus they can't go alone resulting in a greater hunting party
but my personal thought here
the mages in the game deserve the destroy spell and rest of the spells missing
they nerfed them so much
they deserve a spell that can knock like 100 - 150 HP on a knight
this is only the beginning of test server in Korea
I expect to see much more, weapons, armour, all brand new items for us to obtain
this episode is gonna be the big one that doesn't disappoint at all

but one last thing I must say......
WTF IS OUR LVL 30 QUESTS????????????????????????????????
I WANT MY CRYSTAL STAFF AND ELVEN TS AND LESS ELEMENTAL SUMMON!!!!!!!!!!
