European Connection News

We have received numerous complaints from customers whose connections travel through the telia.net network along the route to our network. Our network team has reviewed submitted trace routes and worked with Texas.net and cw.net to ensure that the connectivity issues in question are not happening within either of those two networks. The problem has been narrowed down to originating within the tele.dk network and the telia.net backbone network in Europe. Our network team has escalated this matter to our ISP to look into further.

We urge those that travel through either the telia.net or tele.dk networks and are having connectivity issues to contact your ISP and report the problem. Many ISPs in Europe have a direct working relationship with the telia.net network and can communicate with them to alert them of the problem.

ya i was thinkin that too drunken...nc wouldnt have done this if neo didnt delete his mage...but, i guess thats wut it takes to get their attention =/ maybe he will start over, and maybe Don too, sum1 said he quit with neo, maybe he didnt delete his char..

deleting char makes the point of other players getting their name:P and sad for neo i know lotsa ppl form england, it was the bravest thing that NEo did to save England's Lin player:'(

i am from europe aswell, Holland to be precisely.
i mostly lag when its over 6pm before 6pm its no lag at all.
my cable company sux, they are 450billion in the red.
i think they are gonna get broke, and leave me without a cable connection T_T

Neo deleted his char and remade, but now NEO is an elf. Neo is not going to return, almost in a good time. Neo gave all his ac and weapons (-70 ac and 10 +8 weapons). So, without ac, without weapons and without char, do u think that he is going to return? i think no :(

Hi all
Im sorry to be the one who brings the "bad news" but its one of the singnes that NC and Lineage1 in the U.S server is about to die.Numbers of players are going down insted of up,NC is usuing cheaper servers,,,,Wake up all of you!!
In the next few months many new games are comming out.
Pick one and go for it-I recomend on ashron's call 2.

yes there are plenty of european players there are also alot of players from australia... this server isn't closed to US players only... check out the numbers from Canada as well

Im from london, europe too and i face terrible connection problem right after the connection occured. I was wondering, since everyone facing this lag issue, y NC still wants to shift the server to texas.com?

Thou I am from europe too, but my connection doesn't go through telia.net or telia.dk .. hehe good thing I live in Finland :D
Great to see that NC solved or is solving this problem and all those who live in Englang,Denmark,Holland etc. I hope they soon can play without lag.
Now my HONEY can lvl up and many others ^^

I live near to London, England and since the server move have experienced terrible lag that made the game unplayable. NCi blamed the companies mentioned in this post but I ran numerous traces and everytime it clearly showed packetloss at Exodus and Texas.net. Despite this NCi refuse to accept that they might be the reason for the lag many European players are experiencing.

Yesterday, a remarkable coincidence happened (note the sarcasm!!!) straight after they rebooted the Ken server!!! The lag was gone!! Since then it has been like it use to be - lag free.

Now are you going to tell me that Telia and C&W fixed their alledged problems at the precise moment NCi rebooted the server?

We all know the answer to this and it just proves that NCi dish out propaganda similar to that seen in the 2nd world war. Don't believe a word they say is my opinion but you form your own.

NC talking junk again... Most of the problems have been with Exodus network not telia. 95% of all lag / DC that I had was because of NC's ISP, 5% goes to my ISP(my isp use telia). From Finland the trace jumped 20-25 times before it hit server. I ran trace everytime I was playing, and when the game lagged, it was easy to check where the problem was. 95% of time there were spikes in either C&W or Exodus network.

NC just lying to save their faces again... Older players always catch them lying. This has been going on since US beta started. NC will never learn. Should start guessing about what NC is going to lie about next.

This is one of the reasons I quit playing(NC's lies) other was NC's stupid rules in the game.

Hope they open a european server with european GM's and staff(No more stupid conduct rules) for Lin2

The problem of lineage is NC.They never realy understand that they are here to serve us.We are paying customers and they are working for us-not the other way around.They lie they cheat and they are never there when needed.
I am happy to say i quited as well.
We are all counting on Lineage 2.If you want Lineage 2 to be a good game-we should all teach NC a small lesson-Thats called SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER.

Check your trace yourself and see if NC is lying. (I wouldnt be surprised if NC was lying about tele.dk like they lied about telia...)

Nah, Cody is a crybaby. I was stupid enough to give him my AIM address and he has been harassing me with his stupidity for months. When I added the post count, he immediately started posting all this spam because he thinks that racking up posts gets him some kind of benefit. So I banned him for 1 month for spamming.

Then he IMs me crying about it and saying "FlyZ gets away with it". Just cried cried and cried all day long.

So I banned his IP address.

To his credit, he was the person who found the Paladin Mail on Test server long ago (aka Blueberry). However, every since then he has made up the craziest things I ever read. If you want a laugh, go look in the Comments Search for his predictions on the Ancient armors, DK set and more. Compulsive liars, I always seem to find them around. Long story. :)

Two days later, he's still not over it. lol

If anyone ever banned me from their site, I would have the dignity to never visit again. But I think he's addicted! I didn't know LC could be addicting.
