7/24 - Korean Test server updates

Lineage Playforum (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=2031) reports new updates to the Korean Test server:

At night, the coliseum will still be very bright like daytime.
A collar icon will appear after a dog's name to differentiate between tamed dogs and polymorphed creatures.
Princes can now use all Helms of Magic for the same MP cost as knights (1/2 off)
Orc Scout morph has been added to the list of morphs for SOSC (no level restriction)
Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Finally.. I'm glad to see princes getting HOMs. Now if knights couldn't use them, I'd say NC has finally taken a step forward in balancing classes -.-

Yay for princes, finnaly a update that helpes them! Also, elves (hopefully) have a morph that will help them. Maby thats why NC never does what we ask, korea already has it in a very very long pipe.

i dont understand why ppl think all this is good
comone, is all what NCI want: fighter-mages, elf-mages, prince-mages, and mages ?
sure its a good help for princes, but comeon, (note, knights shouldnt have all these spells either)
and balance,,, balance isnt making all to mages
all classes arent supposed to be equal

i can c pepper,vail,lordfire(from dep) and marak2001(ken) are happy about the hom's they can use str and actually do some good dmg.Pepper and Lordfire gonna hit 50 soon i think i heard pepper was lvl 49.and lordfire peeps though was gonan be 50 longtime ago.

I kinda agree with Qwazin. The Class aren't equal, and I don't think they should be. I kinda like being a Princess because it's a bit harder than the other Classes. I don't really care if NC balances things, but I do think it would make sense if everyone could wear/use the same items to some extent. Couldn't it have at least been Crowns of Magic or Circlets of Magic? It makes me think about that stupid RKC again. It still looks like an Orc Cloak. NC got lazy on us.

I thought Knights casted those Spells for 3/4 the MP cost?

Oh, one more thing. I really think NC should allow us to morph into everything in the game. Of course, they would need to give them all the proper Level restrictions and such. I don't think it makes sense how we can only morph into about 1/4th of the creatures in the game.

Their is a reasone for morph restriction, ex. frog, Crawling Claw. However, NC IS lazy to add more morphs.. I think.

Besides, Pepper at 50 would be a
waste; she has no ambitions.

I think HOM's for princes is good idea,
what's a bad idea is how weak Mages have
become; not that other classes have magic.

Mages should be getting +SP bonuses after 13
and MP regen should be double what they are
now in houses, blues, and even meditation.

In case anyone missed this;
that new lvl.4 blessed weapon
spell makes your SOM work
much better by noticeably
increasing it's tohit%

#41 Blessed weapon is amazing - Combined with str spell I can't hit near 100% (at least on green stuff, haven't seen anything blue for a looong time). But I don't want to kill with my som, I wanna use my spells :/

white mop for pepper is around lv 32 and below so shut up about weak since most mop in lineage is WELL below 32
oh yes did u forgot that ac nerf where every non-knights have that
"your ac would not protect against monsters like it used to" thing?

and not to forget that prince/ss class can't wear all those good junks like epm and use a good sword like rap or even tsu

no ambitions? i better see you lv a prince/ss character to 50 then o.o
if u can do it before she reach 50 then u can call her no ambition

If she has no ambitions, she wouldn't try to level a princess to such a high level in the first place. She wouldn't go hunting everyday trying to level and rather sit in town. Sieging is out of the question since the castle owners are either allied together or have several sub-pledges and helpers.

Bless weapon is level 6.

I was digging through my endless maze of files on my computer today at work and I dug up something quite old. I'd post this on the main site but my account ran out awhile ago. For anyone whose ever wondered why some scrolls have certain names (dais, zels), here's a list of some scrolls and their original names........

A scroll labled.....

Kernord Wel is an Identification scroll
Pratyarayah is a Remove Curse scroll
Venzar Botgawe is a Teleportation scroll
Joyed Awk Yacc is a Destroy Armor scroll
Daiyen Fooels is an Enchant Weapon scroll
Velox Web (or neb i forget ) is a Ressurection scroll
Verr Horde or Verr ye hoome (I forget which) is a telport home scroll
and Zelgo Mer is an Enchant Armor scroll.

These were the old names, used a long long time ago. Next time your in-game, trying to global and say "Selling Joyed Awk Yacc Scroll~~10k!" and see if anyone knows what your talking about :)

second bad of armor cant wear epm,or such i think pm is good. 3 not extra speed pot.also u cant use any spell above 2 lvl. str will help a lot.u prob a knight, i got nothing against them but have u tried a prince/ss first the u take more dmg thing hurts second the dmg/hp they got if u con u have decent hp but nowhere near good hit or peeps in pledge if u str same thing but bad hp now if u cha better not even try to hunt lol.i have tried and i can say it wasnt easy so for me lvl 50+prince to me is better than lvl 50+knight cause of the work they gotta put out so shut up aight and thers so much more than NC screw prince/ss
