NewWind hits 52 on Dep

A pat on the back is what NewWind, the newest level 52 knight on Depardiu, deserves. He has hunted basically non-stop for the last week, getting only eight hours of sleep and finally being rewarded with the level up on October 20th.

NewWind is a CON knight, though at levels 51 and 52 he opted to add strength, giving him a total of 18. His +9 Katana does more then a little damage, and he should probably have the title “Mage’s Nightmare” with his –60 ac MR set. It isn’t every day you find one of those!

He hunts in Fire Valley, due to the good experience and drops. He partakes in a bit of boss hunting, his favorites being Demons and Death Knights. Though he hasn’t gotten any good drops from them lately he boasts a record of two rings of teleport control from MOP.

He had 25 lag deaths from 49-52, 6 of them being from 51-52. This just goes to show you not to give up!

He plans to keep going to 53 with some major power leveling though not half as frenzied as his level 51 work. His only complaints to NC is the major lag/disconnections (though he blames his ISP for most of it) and that he really wants Forgotten Island.

He’d like to give thanks to his brother for his support and, oddly enough, to me for the interview. I’m touched!

Great job Newwind.

I saw you hunting non-stop for a couple of weeks in fire valley beach with
Bapho/Beleth morph and 2 dogs.

Then one day I saw you as DK. I was like..Wow..How did you level so fast? I guess 8hrs of sleep for the remaining 30-50% of lvl 51 proves it.

Congratz he was at dm today strangely he was ni DE for the first round and i think for that firstround he was killing faster than anyone else then for 2-4 round used DK and ended the 3 beleths with the other ppl DE looked so fast even with the lagg.

theoretically being hes a con knight as he levels up he should add to str till he gets to 20str then add to dex
so hes a "str" knight with con hp making him a str/con knight. Then add to dex for xtra ac. You do that and your unstoppable. O.o!!! - Refrence to fieldsoflove for discussing this over and over. hmmm at like lev 54 hell have 20 str o.o not bad

oh yeah Im just saying being that hes a con knight hes set cause then he has lots of hp so his points are worth more when added. where as a str can add to con but doesn get that xtra juicy hp.

Actually I would do the following
51 +1 str
52 +1 str
53 +1 str
54 +1 dex

+3 str, +1 dex would make a con knight 19 str, 13 dex, 18 con

And at level 54, if you add dex, you gain 2 ac. Thats very good for level like that.

actually if you think about it. adding dex at 54 wouldnt matter cause when you make 55 (considering you would if your dedicated to) you could put it into str, so its the same either way by 55 a 20str/18con/13dex wouldnt be bad. After that id add any points to dex. (or con if i want faster regain, but i dont think itd be neccessary)

About adding points on lvl 54...
I'm just stating if you add to dex at 54, you'll gain 2 ac
I rather have 2 ac then 1 more strength, IMHO

I would suppose..
+8sks gives about 20-24%?
+6-7 comr 20-30
+6-7 homr 15-24

Base mr of about 20-25%

His mr range is probably around 75-100% . That's just my guess

But a knight with a min of 75% mr..Now, that's some good
