Phantasm Island map
Lineage Playforum did a summary (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=4684) of the different areas of Phantasm Island, as of the 8/3 Korean Test server.

As you can see there are 5 areas of Phantasm Island. All Spirit bosses drop: b-dai, n-zel, n-dai, haste pot, ghaste pot, pine wand, maple wand, ebony wand, rings, necklaces, blue pot, magic gem, b-res, res scroll, adena and braves.

Area A is a water-themed area. The Great Spirit of Water is escorted by Ice Man and Ice Golem. Ice Golem breaks swords, so make sure you bring whetstones here.

Area B is the fire-themed area. The Great Ball of Fire is accompanied by fire eggs and salamander. You will also will find fungus, be careful, these aren't elven dungeons fungus - in fact, you can lose 30HP/tick when poisoned, so bring twigs.

Area C is the earth-themed area. Here you'll find the Great Spirit of Earth as well as Crazy Rabbits and Guardian Armor, which is only weak to magical attacks. Knights can't really do well here, but mages that tame scorpions can hunt here.

Area D is the wind-themed area. You'll find the Great Spirit of Wind as well as Killer Bee and Ball Lightning. These things are believed to be bad at dropping adena and items, so it is considered a waste of potions to hunt. The Wind boss spawns near the ends of the zone and their tornado can hit for up to 400 HP.

Area E is a "neutral" area. At a rare spawn rate, you will find a Unicorn, which, if you cancel it, will yield Nightmare, a very strong boss. Nightmare drops Cloak of Invisibility and other very expensive items.

Throughout the island you'll have the opportunity to drop Dreamweaver, which drops the elixir. Dreamweaver can hit for 400HP in a single shot, but that kind of risk might be worth it, since an elixir could give you a permanent +1 to your base stat..

I can't believe this is going to go in to LoA. 400hp attack? I don't think many could hunt here. I wonder if it will have a level restriction as well.

When rumours about Phantasm Island first surfaced, there was something about no xp loss on the island. Since I haven't heard anything more about this, am I correct in assuming that xp loss for deaths on Phantasm Island are the same as everywhere else?

Yeah I was wondering about the no exp loss there either., it's a really good idea and would be nice for ppl trying to lvl to 50 because they'd get good exp without the risk of losing it.

so the no exp loss thing is still in? if so i gona live there till i get me 5 int elixirs. i also think i gona avoid the fire area, cause i will be using loads of mg on the dumb salmanders. those living armor better not have any mr since they strong against physcial attacks. another thing i wondering is if those mops up there like to kill summons and stuff.

another thing does dream weaver's attack hit just one person or multiple people

"but mages that tame scorpions can hunt here. "

o.o

so you can bring outside tames onto the island with you? its not like FI where you have to summon your stuff once you are on the island itself? woot if i can bring dogs i will transfer elixers yet! :)

Kaerid were you hoping to solo the dream weavers with your mage? you dont even know how much hp it has or how fast it moves, whether it turns on summons or not...

No xp is lost on phantasm isle. That was reported. It was also reported that mops of identical likeness can to various amounts of damage.

eg. 1 sal hit for 20hp, another sal hit for 200hp.

My question though is, are Phantasm Isle, Dark Elves, and the New TOI all part the next episode as a whole ?

Permanent?!?!?! that means we can get 5 stat points for only killing some monsters?!??! so that means i can get 5 free dex points or so? O_O! wicked O_o

yes the stat point is permanent. but the hard part is there is a elixir for each stat and they only give u +1 per elixir, and you can only use a total 5 elixirs per character.

kraid a mage can get the elixir all you need to do is have a elf and mage and you should be fine. mage slow the dream weaver then the elf hits then mage hits so summosn go after it and elf runs around and keep shooting it so it wont be likely it will turn on summons. that was how me and a elf friend killed loads of lesser dragons before nc put the polly update. only problem with this way is that mage will most likely get all the drops.

i am not sure if that will work with dream weaver but what i described works with most hard mops. that way also works on fi except u dont have to slow the mops as much

I am still a bit curious about the XP loss on the island. Not sure why there wouldn't be XP lost on death. For the items that drop there, it would be ridiculously crowded with people not caring about the dangers that are there. Of course, if there is also no XP gained through the effort, I don't feel that would be enough of a deterent to the inevitable over crowding that will happen.

To be sure, I am more than looking forward to this island. Fantastic stuff is coming!

I agree with tamashii... if there is no exp lost for death on this island, then everyone on the server will hunt there, newbes to lvl 52+, will be super crowded. Everyone can hunt on this island and get to lvl 52 easy since these stronger mops will give more exp, and that you dont lose exp for deaths. Just make no sence.

uhmm guys... reread

1. The entire island is a safety zone except for the bridges and the northern island. There is no XP loss on death here. However, XP gain is less than rest of Aden.

~~~~~>However, XP gain is less than rest of Aden.
~~~~~>The entire island is a safety zone except for the bridges and the northern island

no experience loss, but alot less exp gain, and the northern island you can lose exp

I wonder if they are different from the ammy's and in what way. I have noticed on the lineage character simulations that there are necklaces. Anyone know if it's true and what they do?
