Drakes Pledge Spotlight

I was chillin' at the Oren tree on my level five princess when I noticed a prince hiding behind its branches. Being odd, I of course wanted to stand behind its branches too, so I asked him if I could have a go. Right away, he let me take his place.

Now, there’s something mighty special about someone who will let you pretend you’re the disembodied voice of a tree for a while, so right away I picked up my notepad and began an interview.

LordNikon, prince of the blood pledge Drakes on Ken server has been heading his pledge for four months. He started when he got bored of his mage but soon discovered how fun and challenging princedom could be.

He recruits any level, just be active and no fighting! The focus of the pledge is currently leveling and bonding but they hope to siege at some point. Nikon also has a great present up his sleeve; a Pledgehouse! Not only is it good for regenerating but, Nikon adds, “It helps everyone bond.” It’s a meeting place for the pledge and the Drakes need that.

The pledge doesn’t do many pledge hunts, as their level chart is too wide spread, but Nikon really wishes they could. Currently he’s working on getting all the little guys up so they can do a pledge venture to somewhere exciting enough for experience and easy enough for the lower levels.

When recruiting Nikon tries to keep the pledge mostly North American. This is not because of racism though, it’s just that, in his words, “If you get too many time zones it seems to not work.” I rather agree with that!

The pledge Drakes is part of the ever-growing Dragon Alliance. Members so far of this alliance include Faufurion pledge, TurtleDragon pledge and of course Drakes pledge. See a trend?

LordNikon would like to thank his mom (awww-Tae), all his members, AnubisIII, the pledges Victory and Faufurion and everyone he ever bought/sold with! He also wants to remind everyone that you can find the Drakes pledge site at http://www.geocities.com/drakespledge/main.html
