Korean 52+ Players

Lineage Playforum (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051003&kid=1404) reports that NC - Korea released statistics on how many players are 52+ on the Korean servers. (Korea has its own Dep and Ken). We translated the chart for your reading. ^^

Knights
Elves (Blue) & Mages (Green)

Playforum said that the Prince numbers were unavailable.

It's unknown how old this chart is, but NC provided this data on Playforum's request. (Will the NC-US do that for us? ^^) -- I would say around a month old. Playforum did have the following updates:

Poseidon, marked as level 67 on Gunter, is now 68.
Light, marked as 64 on Arain server, is now 65.
0Hercules0, marked as 61 on Castoll server, is now 62.
DragonElf, marked as a level 57 mage on Einhasad server, is now 58.
ChunSooJungHwa, marked as 60 on Zillian server, is now 61.
Both 57s on Ishilotte server (Gaia and Kenshin) are now level 58.

They also noted that Hercules won the LWC competition that just ended in Korea. (Poseidon wasn't able to sign up in time, if you are curious to Poseidon's ranking).

It looks like our Dep server can hang with the big boys -- the last 7 servers approximately have US Dep's 52+ numbers. ^^

lvl 53 elf^^ theres 1 lvl 67 (posiedon?) then where is light? no 66, or even 65, so did he lvl down lots or hit 67 and posiedon is off the chart at like 68 or sumthin? lol crazy stuff out there~

no princes? that mean marak gonna go for the 1st dk prince ever? i think we missing a few names here o.O

Oh my god.. I am completly speechless by the numbers of lvl 52+ characters they have... Amazing...

Then again each server is 6 times the size of Ken and they have been around for a lot longer, but DAMN!

There are a lot of people in Korea with no life.. =)
Poor elves...

I would actually love to see Austin release these numbers as well. To see how many people we have hiding on the servers. It wouldn't divulge names of course, but it would be interesting to see the real story...

from the look of it too, we r beatin a bunch of korean servers...r they all older then ours or r sum relatively new? theres no oren server, so maybe they all have been around for a while...i wonder where all these characters come from^^ instead of those weekly comics they should post the actual episodes so we rly get to meet guys like Paagrio from the morph event~

btw i should have 1st post =p the first post should talk about more then saying '1st post'..and in this case its both 1st n 2nd posts, o well~

if you think about it logically we are relatively the same stats. we obviously don't have almost 1000 52+ but we've been around a lot lot less. and they do have more players and more sharing accs. at least it cleared up our doubts of ALL being like 60+ now we know it's some being 60+ and all being 50+ ^^ at least we know...

Well seeing as how they have 5000+ players at peak times and we have only like 400 that means they should at least have 10x the number of lvl52 than our servers.

Look at the isolated lvl 67, that's one sleep deprived human, NC must pay him a ton of smack for doing that.

in conclusion...
elf only get up to 53, mage to 57, and the total number of knights 53+ is more than 52+ elves and mages combined..

and therefore...knights r mostly more favored in lineage at lv 52+ - -:

Cody, if you add a stat then delvl you keep that stat point but dont get to add another on lvl up. NC states this on their support site.

you guys are so silly. You blame our TOS>...I assure you korea has the same thing. just about all the players share in USA, as they do in Korea. I believe that theyjust added the "dont do that" for an excuse to legally ban us if we get through a loophole and are bad.

Bah...its not that they all don't have lives or they share accounts or hack...It's just that in our server we have nothing but newbies! They have a lot of server that are much newer than ours also...They have over 3000 people playing on each server unlike our less than 600 on our 3 servers...They got it much harder then we do!!! Most of the people I talked to level EXTREMELY SLOW and get items EXTREMELY SLOW on our servers. Our servers are SO VERY EASY compared to theirs, but very boring also since we have sieges that looks worser than seiging OT on korean server when we are actually seiging Giran, Heine, WW, Kent, Iron gates. Think about it OVER 3000 people on a server active...Think how hard it is hunt in popular places and think how many people camping for drakes and other bosses...we can really compete with only the last 3 servers...17 for Gludio 18 for WW 15 for Giran, but their much newer and they are harder. We have 15 on dep 0 in ken.

By some quick calculations, there are more 52+ players in Korea than there are active players in all of US. I really wish that Lineage would take off like that over here.

drunkenknight our servers are very easy yeh, but it's mostly because these korean players are like dedicated 5 year vets and play the game...religiously.
ALOT of people who left when beta finished would be 52+ now, probably higher.

If you ask me I'd say it takes a FEW YEARS to fully understand the game, after a year and a half of playing I get a strange feeling some people refer to me as newbie still.

I dunno, maybe people just got crap connections and lag alot.

Half of our level +52s is korean...yeah a lot of our beta players left, but that just an sorry excuse. Religiously...5 years...no...but some people do take the game way too SERIOUSLY like for example there are such things called REAL pkers (murderers) wrote down in the police criminal records b/c of the game Lineage and suicide irl b/c they drop their VERY hard to get items. To understand the game it only takes days...the connection I might agree on though. You know this could be their jobs also...selling items for money or advertising a company on their title for example...

not surprised if someone has a lvl 52+ per server...
even if you share accounts its cool since theres so many servers to play, one account can support like a dozen ppl

and MIRAL you say theres alot of korean with no life... but think of it this way...

US servers havent even been close to the time that korean servers have been up but yet we manage 20+ lvl 52's... we manage about an avg number of 52's like the korean servers, just there 20+ servers over there

USA just can't compete with the amount of time and the abilities of the koreans who have played longer. Some of the servers are like USA servers in number of 52+ because new servers are released. To give the whole lots of people more challenges, they get a chance to start over every few months when NC Korea releases new servers. (Well this is what happened in taiwan, 5 new servers released Jan, 2002, and more servers half a year later, in June, 2002)
But of course, in Korea, 2 hours, there are max lawful people, 24 hours, first level 40, 36 hours, castles have owners. (literally, if not faster, these are the times when taiwan released a new server), and 2 months later, a level 52 knight.

you can't get on different servers at the same time...with one account...why don't you people try and see for yourselves...who in the hell keep getting the idea that they all share accounts!? Just b/c your level 52 doesn't mean they have to be sharing accounts even if they have 30 level 68s! So I guess all the 52s we have share accounts and play on one character...Wingzero we have less than 20 we have 15...and half of them are Koreans....

we have more than 15 trust me, theres alot of ppl that keep it secret? probably not on purpose just cant speak english well. And if you play less than 2 hours a day like me, sure 12 ppl can share an accout if they wanted to
and no i never even said our 52 share accounts, in my mind i think they are one person which is why i contradicted miral statement that korea players have no lifes, both sides have no lifes cause i am sure most of the 52+'s on both sides play 8+ hours a day. You just read from all the wrong angles

LOL. Well, I just used the Goal calculator (http://www.lineagecompendium.com/xptime.php) and it says that, with my currently being at level 36 and being able to level at 100% a day, every day of the week. I will only reach level 64 by July 31, 2010. It wouldn't even give me a time after that.

I think if it tried to, it would give up and start flashing "LOSER! LOSER!" on my screen. (whoops, did I say that?)

Retro: "100% a day" at level 36 isn't that much when you are level 50. Most of our level 50+s who play 6-8 hours a day get 2-3% per day. To level from 36 to 37 is about 1% at level 50. So, 100% a day would be about 2-4 hours of work. You can still have a life with 2-4 hours of Lineage per day, I think.

so many silly here.. first korean server remove the lv50cap like last year. i think it is about the same time as in the usa server. second you can create up to 12 char in all different server i think taht is the limit. Like usa server we can still create 3char in ken/dep/test taht only 9..

PR0FESSI0NAL, YubGiChaRyuk, MaMaMia, ZeFeroth, Tidus, Startsnow, CORPS, Tuscani, KnightRyDuZ, DREAMWORKS, Pomme, LineageKHAN, NEO, XDaComeOn, and Enhance have all been reported. It's safe to assume that's all the Level 52+ players there are in US Servers, because if anyone else got to 52, you'd see them hunting in their morph. I'm sure one of you is gonna say something like, "Well, my friend is 52+, but he's never used it", or "My friend got to 52, but he quit right away", or something farfetched like that. When players become Level 52 or better, you'll know it.

there is nothing wrong with the name 'joe' ok?!?!?! its a sweet server name!! and whoever was saying all that stuff about it being way easier to lvl on our servers...thats not very accurate anymore cuz i dont think forgotten island could be too crowded considering how hard its supposed to be.also they just have to be more selective..instead of hunting just on the best cave floors they have to hunt on the weird ones...and they have better updates!!but koreans still own our server

amer: heh, I know that %'s come a lot slower at higher levels. But the fact is that its going to take me 8 years! And I don't nearly play that much.

I disagree with you though. With a job at which I am at 10 hours a day (including travel) a wife, a house, and other interests. 2-4 hours of Lineage a day for 8 straight years would not constitute "having a life".

I'm happy with being low level, having a couple of friends to hang with online. My sanity will thank me someday.

Yes!!! I would REALLY like that VERY much! If they made a NEW US server! I don't agree on calling it Cody though -_-;; It would be GREAT everyone would have a FRESH start and MUCH MORE FUN...More adventures and make NEW friends. NEW pledges also hopefully there will be a LOT of STRONG pledges instead of 5 or 6 strongest pledges on the server all allied so no other pledge can take control of a castle except for OT...I WISH that NC actually would go through with this though...When I started over from fresh I really didn't like the idea of going into a world filled with 15 level 52s already...I'm sure no one else does either...So I say we all have a FRESH START from level 1. If your going to say play on test after a wipe...the answers NO. REALLY I WANT ANOTHER SERVER I'M SURE EVERYONE WOULD VOTE FOR A NEW ONE IF YOU MADE A POLL ABOUT IT!

Oh yea this isn't NCs suggestion forum...but whoever reads this and REALLY want a NEW server! Prey to God! Help out and post on their suggestion forums and maybe they WILL!

TO POST #77!~ I want a new server no matter what...but with that kind of attitude I guess it will set in...but I want a new server anyways...so everyone start over and try to make a new ERA and kill the old where everyone hates each other or acts like a jack ass...and have strongest pledges all allied so that no other pledge can have a chance in taking a castle...the pledges that are allies are stupid to...they always seem to betray you at the end...can't really trust anyone in game...when you help in seige...the pay you get is pathetic...I could have made all that adena just hunting the whole time and get xp at the same time...instead wasting pots and get jack $hit for it...I had actually trusted someone for once but when I was red...psh tried to kill me for my drops...well, I want a new server the old ones really do suck...ken is non pvp with so little playing...dep the playing enviroment really sucks...test is test it gets wiped and you don't really need to work for anything...

Retro: No, the % may come slower at higher levels, but the raw XP is *much* faster. That's why I say that the tool shouldn't be used for people under level 45. As you get higher in level, you kill stronger things. You're not even close to the peak of your hunting speed at level 36 yet :)

#56 All server eventually become the same. The "new" players and "new" pledges lasts for about 3 months, then all the old Pledge names and rip-off players set in.
#58 Depardieu is the name of the protagonist from the original comics.

no man.... koreans hunt HARDCORE..... they never stop.... like.. not 10 hours a day, but like over 15 hours aday to be posidean..... wow..... lol! and how do ppl like zues get to 50? well.... my guess he has a lvl 52+ on korean servers and hunt around... 8 hours on us test.... thats how he got to 50 so fast... yup... u guys think 4-6 is hard.. try 8 hahahahaha ull never make it.... not trying to be racist, but prolly only yellow ppl can do that.... and i guess zues just eats instant noodles all the time hehehehe mmmmm noodles.... oooo MR. NOODLE ISNT CHINESE NOODLES!!!!!!!1 -_-;;;;;;!!!!!!!! lol i better finish my homework >.<

#80: If you didnt mean to be racist then why did you post what ever u posted? Because i find it very offencive. Also Zues has 2 chars on test that he plays and he plays both about 4~6 hours a day so...i guess u just restart too many chars on test because its possible to get 50 on test within maybe 3 months if u tried hard enough not to die, because it takes about 5 months on test if u have good stuff already so it takes about...hmmm 2 weeks to get semi good stuff (-5x +8~9weapon) and then about another 2 weeks to get -6x and +9weapon (if ur smart). Then you go FV and lvl for about 5~6 hours a day(10~12hours a day if u got no life - will get u there way faster) and u are sure to get 50 in about 2 months from the time u get good stuff. If u don't belive me ask Forged. The reason that alot of people havent gotten to 50 on test is because they have downleveled too many times to Dragons back when they were killable, they have making new chars problem or they don't have the right stuff to get to 50+ on test which means that person is a newbie which are most of the test server who take test seriously.
