King of Lineage

Some people have been asking about the King of Lineage/Lineage Worldwide Championship. Briel, from Lineage: The Fact, sent us some info:

"One of the Hong Kong magazine (PC Gamewave) has mentioned that there will be a "King of Lineage" event when Episode XI is published to Hong Kong server (around mid-July). The winners of the event can have a chance to participate the Lineage Worldwide Championship! However, no more detail is mentioned in the article... The attached image is the article scanned from the magazine (in Chinese).

I guess each regions have their own "King of Lineage" event, and the winners of them can join together for the Lineage Worldwide Championship! The details of the events should be announced around the end of June, because the King of Lineage event in Korea last year is begin on 17-July and finished on 26-August. Video of the King of Lineage last year can be founded on Playforum."

I think it works like this:
You get make your own team with your friends. There are lots of teams in the comp. and each team makes a new character, NC gives them some adena and at the end of the month who ever has the highest level char wins this comp.

This is what i know about it, but i might be wrong.

I think there doing what everquest does. They take all the Leet players that have signed up and put them in a seperate server where they can fight and stuff , that would be hella cool

hm....at the bottom right paragraph
it states that if your team win the "local" hk championship tournament, your team can represents hk to participate and compete with other teams worldwide in a "pk" battle

...i think they have the "local" thing where they weed out the weak ppl...
but...they "transfer" the team characters after the local championship into another server where all the other champion teams compete again? o.o that doesnt make any sense of how they gonna do it "worldwide" as the article says...

oh yea...the article says episode 11 MAINLY concentrate on improving elven magics lol....oh wait..it's true!

keep using blizzard ^___^ but blue pots won't help them as much as before thou o.o

How can u possibly compete worldwide...Some servers have longer lives than others. Such as the korean servers...How can you possibly beat Poisedon who's lv 66 with 9xx hp -.- (correct me if i'm wrong i'm not sure about the numbers) There is a possibility, poisedon might be the first target if he is to join the championship tournament lol -_-

theres only like what 40 servers and 300k people play avg online at once so i think they can do it world wide. shouldnt be that hard

we need some1 to correctly translate the article... also nc austin hasn't posted anything about this, so i wouldn't get our hopes up. Wich brings up the question, is it posible to have a server in wich everyone in the world could play in, instead of having em by regions? that would b kool!

INTRODUCTION
"Out of all the online games these days, Lineage is one which holds lots of activites. Besides the events being hosted by Gamemasters, lineage should also be noted for it's constant updates. After the update of episode 10: Lair of Valakas, Lineage will have another new update in July <<Lineage: Episode 11 Oren>>. The main theme of the update is the Ice Queen. You shall see beautiful backgrounds and graphics of the many new places, such as the Ivory Tower. However, there will not be a new castle; meaning, sieges will be targeted on the current existing castles.

Besides having new places, another significance of <<Lineage: episode 11 Oren>> update is the improved magic section. The elven magic has been updated such that, aside from the lvl 1~6 spells which elves can currently learn, there are a set of magics lvl 1~5 designed exclusively for the elven class. Therefore, it can be said that elves can learn a total of 11 lvls of spells. Elves learn their new spells at an interval of 10 lvls. And they must choose an element, fire, water, earth, wind that they wish to follow upon learning lvl 3 elven spells.

IS IT WORTH PLAYING?
Players upon receiving this update can also proceed to participate in the Hong Kong "King of Lineage" competition. The winning team can represent Hong Kong to compete in the international "Lineage Worldwide Championship" Tournament, to have "PK battles" (I think it means PvP here) with Lineage players around the world, to win glory for Hong Kong! There aren't many chances where you can get famous playing games. So Lineage Players, grasp this golden opportunity!

LOL I think that's pretty easy to understand and don't come to me when u don't understand something..I've tried my best -_-
And they gave Lineage 3 points for whether or not it's a game worth playing...I'm not sure if 4 or 5 is the highest score.

Well if pr0 was banned for sharing then 1/4 of lineage population should be banned. (at least some of the high lvl's anyway)
That's NC's TOA, once you created an account you agreed to the TOA..so there's really no one to blame but yourself for having multiple players on your account and being in high profile.

#29 - Whoa! NC cares about making money? You would think they would be trying to hang onto ANY paying customers after seeing how many quit after the latest update fiascos.

I logged in this weekend and had a blast walking around town dropping a bunch of cool stuff I'd collected. I had a small crowd following me around picking stuff up and lol. It felt really good.
