Legends of Aden Spotlight

In the month of June a princess appeared upon the Lineage doorstep, alone and unknowing of what she was walking into and what she would create. As many brave leaders have done before she set out on her quest to become a great leader, and boy did she succeed.

Not four months later one will find her as Princess Adeleide, head of the LoA team, five pledges with a big dream to turn Aden upside down. The first wing of LoA is, of course, Legends of Aden. Adeleide recruits from 40+, but there is one more qualification that you must meet: trust. You won't find any doublecrossers in Ade' pledge.

The second wing is Legends of Aden3. I'm not quite sure what happened to LoA2, but LoA3 recruits 30+ honorable and friendly people. Legends of Adel and Legacy of Adel are the next pledges, recruiting from 20 upward. And lastly, there is Loyal of Adelide, the spec. ops team. When asked what they do, Adeleide slyly replied "confidential" Sounds fun!

There is a lot of teamwork in the five pledges, higher levels working with lowers to ensure happy hunting and no pks. They sport a number of different nationalities, all of which get along or get lost.

For pledge hunting the LoA crew does not skimp one bit. Almost nightly you can find a mix of the members hiking off to some hunting ground, be it Dragon Valley or Heine Cave.

A few pledge stats for you:

Best knight- xTheBoyx, level 48+
Best mage- BestCoconut, level 48+
Best elf- FacelessRed, level 48+
Best weapon- OrientKnight' +7 tsurugi

Lastly, I asked Adeleide to describe her pledge in five words. The first five words that came to mind for her were: "loyalty, trust, honor, kick #$^ fun and justice." Sounds like my cup of tea!

Heh sounds good. I'm personally not a fan of things like "special ops" and stuff. I've seen a whole lot of those over time. What do they do? Do they buy pots in *secret*? I mean it's cool and all, but "confidential?"--what could they possibly do besides hold secret meetings to discuss the secret things they do. Don't mean to rain on the parade though, good luck to ya.

I smell some hate in orenge o.o.....
Certainly they siege with all their subs and some of them don't know how to stand out of siege zone declaring. It is fun watching some people try to siege. Without them, lineage will be really boring with castles helds for many months without any action.

this is a good pledge, but i think LoA3 with Prince Skysthelimit is better then the regular LoA :)

HHS wasn't the only pledge there, also that was our first siege, and no there wasn't 100 people there.

;) I am in LoA myself so naturaly I have to say some good things.

Adeleide has been playing for the better part of what, four months? calling LoA newbie's is hardly an insult when you look at that fact, but even if LoA were the weakest pledge in the server, I would still be in it, no doubt about that much, 100 weak friends or 20 strong pricks thats the choice.

But this interview was done some time ago almost a month ago, so a bit has changed.

I might take this chance to throw in the pledges URL.

LMAO orient this interview was taken when u were in LoA.And yes Awhole lost have changed since then, we i hit lvl 48 for one ^^ one of our members hit 49. and we have alot of other members in our main pledge that are very close to 48, which well be in about aweek..its sad how people say "oh we are weak this and that blah blah blah" then when we teach them a listen they say "OH WELL U HAD LIKE 50 PEOPLE"...well 50 people is LoA,we may not have no +50 or +52 players but theres one thing we do have, and thats trust and loyalty to each others,we been around for about 4 months and we have grown big and tight,how long do u think those other big pledges that hold castles and have +52 members been around uh??so say we are weak this and that,but i bet ur going to try to make a char and join us.

ok this pledge and reanimate are both not "good" spotlite material....do a pledge that actually owns castles (firslove and company own all) or has more than 5 50+ (sol has that many 52 o.O i think i lost count now i think mayb 4 i dunno)

#21- first of all, reanimated does(or at least did) own a castle: dwarf. Second of all...who cares? Just because they own a castle doesn't make them special. Get with the game; look at all those strong pledges with no castle.

rofl i accidently clicked add button!, i am Faceless. and ur insults to one o fmy favorite pledge is indeed immature. and FCA and pledge holding castles are quite franky... BORING. there just ppl with symbols who have castles that do the same thing every day day in day out. try to stop a lvl 52 + person in the middle of the hunt. will they stop and talk to u. NO they wont and if u continue they most probably try to kill u. i like my pledge very much. and were not newbies. someof us ARE but were not. and i have alot of freinds from WAAAAAY B4 i ever even met adel. when i was TheifElf. and i think Freindship and loyalty should go beyond the pledge and beyond enemy pledges and all that. cause after all People are People and a game is a game. the game doesnt matter as much as the people you meet. and quit frankly i think Most of us LoA i cannot say all (cause i know some LoA i want to kill myself --;) are good people!

LOA is not weak, its just not one of the strongest pledges that is all when compared to something like GF/FL/SoL/Reanmiated/EK etc etc.
still LOA obviously from wat i have seen on dep and see here now is cool pledge and that is wat really matters right?
***About u saying FCA is weak, i do hate FCA, but i think wat u said was a mistake and a lie. They have weak members yes, so does LOA. But they are i am quite sure stronger than LOA, LOA is not on same level by far. its more like COD or KK.

Oh yea and about the hienes siege, that was along time ago and that was our very first siege,our pledge started with all noobs,we didint go out and yell at giran cross RECRUITING +45.and for our very first pledge we did quiet well,just alil mistake (forgot the back gate hehe)but hey,u learn new things every time.we tried to take hienes again but the pledges that had it started doing that switch castle with allies everytime they get near tower trick,it got to the point that everytime we declaired they didint even wait til we even got to the bridge to switch castle ownership.yes we do have alot more work and lvling to do,but i im damn proud of my pledge,and i well never leave it to join some greedy pledge that looks for noobs in wl to pk hoping to get a good drop.

CoD are cool ^_^ very nice people and strong too.

Here is a point which is partly the reason I like LoA so much..

How many pledges out there are looking to be the strongest pledge, by setting thier recruitement level's up to 47+ or even 48+

how many pledges set weapon limits of +7 or +8 and higher.

how many pledges are just friends who own a house and hunt and have pledge hunts?

And then.. you ask yourself.. how many pledges are there who are there with you when you start until the day you leave, and become more then just a pledge, so many members in LoA were there when they were level 10, they have grown with the pledge, and with that the pledge has grown with them.

I met Adeleide when she was level 13 and took her and eight of her equaly new members at the time to MLC 6th floor through TI tunnel with my elf Hebroti, and hunted with them (hey I know it was a little too much for them but none of them died and they had fun).

That hunt to me showed me a part of lineage I used to know and love, I can't remember when lineage went from a game of wonder and exploration to a game of pain and endurance but I do remember how much fun I had climbing to where I am now for the first time on my mage.

And here I saw a small, weak pledge, with big goals and dreams.. after one month I left my pledge and ran into Adeleide again, and LoA went from a small pledge to a big pledge and the goals were becoming items on a check list, LoA to me is the same experience as hitting level 40 for the first time.

Any one can level, any one can be strong, but not every one can be a legend in aden, that is one thing strength is not a pre-requasite for.

I'm in LoA too... and I really love this pledge. They took me in just before my account was expiring (I only paid for a month after the trial - and I really planned to quit). Just a short time with them, and I had renewed my account for 4 months straight... and i blamed it all on Hebroti, Freyan and LoA for making me stay. hehe. I have made so many more new friends since. Adeleide and SkysTheLimit are indeed both amazing leaders. And in reply to comments on COD, i think they're great people too, and I've met some nice FCA members too. In Lineage, it is so easy to find people who are selfish, rude and arrogant. But as in any other game, so what if u have the best weapon, or the biggest castle, if u have a pledge who couldnt care less about u? u can't take those items out of lineage anyway. In LoA, I have made friends for real, and these are people I care about, not just in the game... and I could literally say 'good morning' in pledge chat, and someone would answer 'it's night here' ^^ our members may be from all over the globe, but we all stand as one. True, there are many pledges who are stronger than us, with higher level members and better weapons...given enough time, anyone can grow and level up.. but nomatter where my pledge stands, for me, it will always be LoA for life... so for all of u who are picking on us, that's my say.

p.s. and for those who say LoA's are easy to pk, it must have been me you were trying to pk ^^ go pick on someone your own size! lol...

taera...get with it? ok first off reanimated was givin dwarf castle a while ago by K1DA's sol (the sol started after bbknights quit a long time ago) we had to give it to them to save the alliance with GF since knightryduz was "reanimated" or at least a friend of them or whatever i forget the whole story all i know is they tried to take it many times under the name hughhung or whatever and failed and yea reanimated said they kicked out all the trouble makers but didnt kick out all ofem SOO taera i bet u didnt know half of that and ur telling me to get with it? i said the pledges that own are fl, sol allies which reanimated is and so are all other castles lately and loa is allie they always help but i was just saying maybe you should do a "super" pledge or one of the main pledges on dep yes fca unfortunally is one, im not just saying my pledge gf was a good spotlight choice too but maybe next you should do sol, fl maybe even rolex since their pretty old pledge

What wrong with given just a good pledge a spot light??everyone knows about those other pledges what else do they want to know??ok sure give them there spot light and tell the readers everything they already know over and over and over,i thank Taera for given us this spot light,she interviexed me and adel like a month ago,we were really kindof new at that time,since alot of use were only lvl 40.taera interviewed us because (i believe)she see us as a upcoming pledge,how long as fl and sol been around???and how long as LoA been around?at the time she interviewed us we were 3 months old and we showed sign of growning big and strong in time.yea i know reanimated and gf took like 2 weeks but i bet if i was a lvl 52 knight i can make a pledge just as strong,because these kids look up to them(and try to be there best friend so when they quit they can get something out of them -.-)anyway my point is i dont think they really need to be a spot light on a pledge/s that everyone already knows about, let the rookies shine for once, stop being greedy.

Ahh I see what the problem was ^_^

LoA's only allies are CoC and RoH, CoD used to be but they decided allying with GF and such would be better in a sense, but being friends some loa like to siege with them if not only for the fun of it ^_^

to the point, LoA isn't in the allies list of SoL FL GF and what not.

I thought this was to be an article, not a bashing post - thank goodness I don't play on Dep - they all sound like elitists to me, badmouthing each other for what?

Note this to the ones who seek to make fun of those in this LoA pledge (or any other for that matter):

Weak players do not stay weak forever - Those who aren't friendly will sooner or later feel that Wrath of the Meek in strong numbers only to then realise that they are not weak anymore.

well the point is this:

Lineage Compendium doesn't run around interviewing Hidden Valley members do they?

"XBobX has just come in to the world of aden as a level 1 knight with 20 str! WE EXPECT GREAT THINGS TO COME FROM THIS PERSON in oh say 9 months!"

So why make a big deal out of a newfie pledge (canadians understand newfie haha)
so what if ur big, lots of pledges get big
so what if even ALL your members are 40+ (which their not), lots of pledges have 40+
so what if your 4 months old, lots of pledges are 4 months old
so what if your values are V, W, X, Y, and Z because lots of pledges are the same values...

nothing about this pledge is unique except they have "secret" meetings to hit on their princess

This pledge to me is like the old CoD *like 6 months ago when CoH was still active with TheLaw running around whacking on stuff as well as the other 5 Co(X) spinoff sub pledges

#43 u have no idea what ur talking about, and thats the roblem with most of the people that looks down to us, every single one of main pledge member is +45 and up, there are very few that are lower then lvl 45, yes we do have a wing that have new players but so what?? we dont care about getting strong people.tell me what can a pledge do with 15 members all +48 up against a pledge with 50 people all +45 with decent items uh? who do u think well win??..ok lets make neo cross happy and interveiw a pledge that everyone knows about and found out all the info we already know all over again,YAY ILL HAVE FUN READING ABOUT THAT!!

I like FCA, many LOA are my friends.. none of my friends are newbs. I doubt 7 lvl 30 people could make almost anyone in FCA tele~~ If you think so, send a mail to bizmarkie and he'll send a 'representative' to end you ^^* I bet he could find an elf that you can't kill ;P and lvl 30? pssshh

neocross, they ARE different. I especially commend their newbie wing, something I've only seen two pledges do, and I feel its a very nice thing to do. Admit it, support isn't doing the best job getting new people, so any pledge that helps little uns grow up deserves a round of applause.

Also, as everyone who was in my pledge Everyone or Cubed can tell you, we started together at level ten and now two of us are 50+, one is 52+, one has a +10 tsu (guppy's a babo btw) and one of us sits around and talks alot (me). Being together for so long creates loyalty, friendship and as Ade said kick #*$ fun.

LOA is a good pledge, built on trust honor friendship and a goal to rock the powers that be in lineage. They have members of all levels, some weak many very strong, but what gives them power is their unity and the fact they look after each other. Excellent people to have a chat with and I extremely appreciate their presence when some still come help all the COH sister pledges during sieges. Good people u can count on and their leaders are awesome people. :)

I think some of you people are just bitter. I, for one, would rather have 100+ reliable, loyal, dedicated and friendly people on my side than 20 super powered people - Who may or may not speak english, care whether I live or die, and probably got where they are by backstabbing, murder, treason, and any other way they could advance themselves at someone elses' expense. For the 90% of 'super' powerful people this describes, I have only pity for you.

BUT, I do have a few friends who you may be interested in meeting who are much like LoA on ken server ^_^

there is a pledge there one of my friends joined when he moved to ken, I will get the name of the princess for you ^_^

Castle Owner Pledges usually suck anyways. They're all about the castle and the Money. It's very shallow. They never last for long either. All of the oldest Pledge in Lineage keep it on the low, not caring much for Castles and all that crap.

#18 FCA sucks hard. You're like KK wannabes, which is just so sad already. No one wants to waste their time on a bunch of Chaotic newbie Elves.

#37 People like you gossip too much. You think you know everything. "Well, this is how it was, that is how it was", whatever. Spend your time doing something other than chatting amd dueling for once.

I don't want to see spotlights for Castle owners or big cut and paste Pledges. Ones like this are perfect. Lesser known Pledges that not everyone knows about. Who give a flying frito about ReAnimated, or FIRSTLOVE, or GoodFriends. They're all burnt-out. Keep it real.

Castle-owning pledges suck? So you're saying that GF/FL/SoL suck? The whole point of this game is to occupy and hold castles, I fail to see why you think that because a pledge wants to better itself by becoming wealthy and notable, that it sucks. I agree that it is fun to be in a pledge that doesn't siege from time to time, but really what else is there to do? Pledge hunts are for newbs, sry.

Also, for sh0n, the other lvl 50+ in CoD is SwordMonkey. There's a pledge worthy of recognition. ^^

I knew sword monkey was lvl 50, CONGRAT ON THAT BRO ^_^, in a few days we well have our own lvl 50 member. i agree with #58,but he wasnt really saying that they sucked, hes just saying that theres no need to interveiw them because they all been around for so long and everyone knows everything about them.

So many heated debates and arguements.

First congrats to Swordmonkey for level 50. I never knew he reached that level. I just saw him lots and working hard in fire valley.

Second. Many pledges/players play the game different. Some want to be well known, some want to be not known at all.

Some want to own a castle, be a pledge that mainly pledge hunts, friends only pledge...etc..

Whatever way they are, as long as they like what they are doing and having fun at the same time then by all means, thats great!

I dont think we should flame/ argue on these spotlights.

Spotlights are suppose to be interviews done with a certain participant. So we get to know more about them.

Its great to know some infomation about different pledges, how they work, what kinda style they have, and how they play the game.

As long as there are new interviews, I'll keep reading them regardless.

I agree that LoA is not the strongest pledge in the game in term of their highest lvl, etc. But alot of you aren't even giving them the respect they deserve. Reanimated, or Knightryduz and a few friends, does have strong members that can own me, but at the same time if it was just LoA against just Reanimated they would win solely because of their numbers, it would be hard to say otherwise because I'd say LoA would haev at least 3 members to every Reanimated member. But stregnth of chars isn't even what makes a good pledge. Would you prefer to have lots of high lvl's that hunt by themselves all the time and don't talk or would you rather have a close-knit group of friends?

javi u say i never pass lvl 45?, well i may not be lvl 48 but i am lvl 47 and i can wreck you anyday, and do not go talking about items, because i gave embargo his +9 epm that got him started. He would not have his items if it werent for me so the least he can do is loan me his coi and pg once in a while. Another thing, why are u making fun of me for not having a coi, when you yourself dont have one, not to mention the fact that you have one of weakest ac ive ever heard of for a lvl 48 knight, i believe embargo said it was -5x or something like that.

lol first of all u were the one making fun of our princess for not having coi by saying shes not a princess because she dont have coi.second....weakest ac???? hmm i look at the lvl 50 players and damn i see alot of -5x??man u must be able to take them all on since there ac is so weak.and please Embrago didint make me venz not once, and i know ur lieing about his ac as well because a +7kat aint going to take out 28hp from -7xac which at the time i was using to duel him when he claimed he got all his things from u, .why do i know? because he was bragging to me how i take only 28 hp off of him when i told him he took only 20-24hp.and by the way a +8tsu does much more dmg on such a weak ac like -5x.oh and yea he did beat me in a NO POT duel,u seem to forgot that str knights are not so good in no pot duels against a con knight with decent items.now i know why everyone calls both u and embrago the most "Babo" people on lineage.

ok javi, just got off the phone with embargo. MAN was he lauyghing at what u said.He said he showed u my +7 bkat instead of his tsu because u were crying about how he went and got his items from me.News flash, elfs cant use b tsu newbie.Another thing, any lvl 50+ player with -5x ac is SAD. PERIOD. I even have -5x and i just came back from retirement. He also said he made you venz with 4 dmg on his tsu.KAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKAKA. Embargo would be posting but he cant make a name because someone took embargo already. I guess hes a pretty big babo if people are impersonating him, DORK.
