Trillian News Feed
If you are a Trillian Pro user who uses the News Plug-In, you can now have LC headlines updated automatically without having to refresh the page over and over again :)

In the News plugin option, under Preferences, goto Add Custom Feed:
Server: www.lineagecompendium.com
Location: xml/lc_rdf.xml
Port: 80 (default)

(It uses the standard RDF format, so if you have an RDF compliant application, that would work too.)

Just a friendly warning, dont download and use any programs that refeer to lineage. I've seen too many of my friends crying themself to sleep coz they got hacked and lost everything they worked so hard to get.

Also turn ActiveX off your browser since a systemoperator told me that there are serious bugs in that function who alouds illegal access to your computer.

Never download any ziped file containing Windows Office files such as Excel, Word or PowerPoint. Not only that they might be infected with macrovirus, they can also have added invisiable *.DLL files that activates when a function is called so you can be hacked.

I got all this information from computer systemoperator at my work, i dont know how to fix bugs or create them. I only know that its weise to avoid d/l anything.

if you're on the mac, you can use the dock extra SlashDock to access any RDF - compatible site, dunno if they make a win version of it, though....
