Test Server Update

We appreciate our customers’ enthusiasm and desire to play on the Test server. Currently we are using the test server to test our login process. The changes currently in testing may affect your ability to access the Test server. Because this is a Test, we are not sure if this change will be temporary or permanent.

If you have signed up for an account using a credit card and you are still using the first 30 days of the trial period, then you will not be able to use the Test server. We do not have the ability to force the payment to be made to the credit card, so customers in their trial time on a credit will have to wait for the trial time to expire before they can access the Test server.

If you have recently paid for an account with an Internet check or Paypal payment, then you will have to wait up to 3 hours after the account is activated before the account will be recognized by the Test server.

If you have sent us a money order for an account, the account will not be able to use the Test server until at least 3 hours after the payment was received and applied to the account.

why dont add the option of paid an account when the user wants to do it?

if i want to test lineage for 5 days (dep) and i think that i want to play all servers (test + dep) then i pay my acc. Why u dont want that we do this?

I dont play test server, only dep, but i have a lot of friends (and a girlfriend) that are really pissed about that, they cant play and they cant pay to play test. Its a nonsense.

test server should have a limit on how many ppl can play on.... i lost many friends to the test server. it should have a cap of about 300 or less i think.

i mean a player should at least have a charecter over lvl 40 before they start on test becuase i have met a newb who played on ken for a while but said it was too hard so went to the test to see what it was like.... he played for a few weeks then i saw him again one dayon ken and told me he was quiting becuase the test was too easy and the live servers were too hard..... i think that is just sad

Test is for people like me who don't have the time to play constantly to get a high-level char. I only can get on lineage about an hour, mabey two hours a day, so I don't have enough time to get a hgh-level char.

yea..i think that's what nc austin is aiming at so that newbies HAVE to try out dep / ken servers before trying test server to be eased up

but...i think if u sign up a trial acc in korea, ncsoft allows u to have access to all servers, all 38 of them, and the famous korean test server, and u dont have to pay anything, for 3 days

They're doing it because people are setting up trial accounts for 30 days, and playing test server I'd guess.
Within 30 days u can make a pretty mean character on test, there's your game played.
Then, I'm sure they opt out of continuing to play after the trial time.

I think NC made a smart move on changing the test server access, makes sense that only paying customers have access to it.

if it were a little more enjoyable playing on the live servers, not everyone would like to play on the test.

if they made it so u can go to test with a trial acc most of the really new ppl wil go to test as soon as they hear it thus destroyin the use of testserver becoz all ppl just play there and very few of m will ever wanna go on liveservers becoz they spoiled as hell

Test is for testing and discovering bugs .. personally I think it probably is not easy enough. If I want to test whether a Level 30 Dex elf is better than a level Con elf I shouldn't have to spend time leveling the characters up to test. I should be able to set the level when I log on and test it.

and I think it was right of NC to make test a pay server because alot of ppl have left their live servers for it and are missing out on money that is rightfully theirs... but I still hate NC ;P

hey people your forgetting about the innocent non n00b people that just rejoined lin (me) i quit lin 3 months ago and finally came back (school ended) i cant believe they added that trial ***t 1 week into my trial... now i have to wait 2.3 weeks to play test again

i have an account that i quit because of money now i made one 2 days ago and playied test got to lvl 24 with -22 AC and boom cant play my character was in NWL so in 2 weeks i wonder if i will still be being attacked by a ghoul

The normal Servers are fine and they're fun. Everyone played them before the Test Server, and no one complained. The Test Server is for those who can't handle the heat of playing on a real Server. And #8 is right. NC doesn't want new players playing the Test Server because it is too easy for them to play the game out there in 30 days. Don't play the Test Server, it's a waste of time.

I was actually playing test to test the upcoming updates (was leveling a DEX elf), then comp went out at level 15 and I never could log back on. *sniff* no more suggestions for my ultra-long post on the boards [http://boards.lineage-us.com/cgi-bin/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=Discussions&Number=186523] because of that :(

hahahaha gunther u just can't handle it...... basically u suck -.- i play dep and its not hard at all u can play for 1 month and be able to be 40+ without problem...... yes the past few updates have been harsh.... but who said everything was suppose to be easy? just have to adapt...... but dep server really isn't that hard..... i've played test..... and yes it really is spoiled -.- b4 i hit lvl 15 i made 100k ;) it was pretty nice but not even close to a challenge.... ii could've taught my lil cuzin who's 5 to play and in a few days he could get 45 on test (figure of speech) =P test is way too easy and is either for newbies who like vail said can't handle it..... or vets who are tired of lvling on live servers and feel like having some fun! jus like before lineage went commercial o.o remember those day? everyone alwayz dueling at pot shops ^^ yea.... think i've gotten off topic enough ^_^ latez

I was commenting on Vail saying people didnt complain before the test server was put in... That didnt make sense, because I saw people complaining all the time. It doesnt matter if someone played .77 server if they didnt look around and see what other people were saying.

test is atleast fun. i haven't lost friends because of it. almost all my friends are in test now too!! owl27 for one. =)

also, i hate these new so called "events". all it is, is hunt new mop as much as possible. why can't there be events like kurtz invading ti again? i saw it happen b4 i started playing, and wish i was playing back then. -_-

maybe u ppl should shut your ignorant mouths, I played dep for around 1.5 years but unless you didnt hear, I got BANNED.. for very unfair reasons may I add. You actually expect me to want to restart after that? And Vail... go outside or something because the whole game is POINTLESS, not just the test server. Its a game and its for fun, not something to be proud of and hold on to and share with friends and family. If anything, the ppl with a better grip on reality play test server so don't bash ppl over something so stupid. I play test server because I like to get good fast, interact with ppl, go to sieges and have fun. It doesnt matter to me that its gonna get wiped or whatever because I dont take it that seriously, I bet a few of the ppl out there wouldve ****ing killed themselves or someone else or do something along those lines if they had what happened to me happen to them. Thats how bad its gotten and it makes me sick... what happened?

leme tell you guys a story... my old account got banned cuz of some ghey that hacked me..nc wouldnt unbann it...so i made a new account (it was still trial)
so i couldnt play testserver anymore , that made me really pissed off so i said something to a monitor on dep he gave me a 300min chatban , then he found out that i was banned be4 and he told me that i wasnt supposed to play lineage anymore so he banned my account..i mailed nc alot but they wont awnser me now.
i just tried to make a new account but they also banned my credit card -_-
why cant they just let me play lineage i was doin aight on testserver~..............

none of the servers are hard, just that it takes time. If you have patience, then you will succeed. Just that test is for people with no patience and do not care about leveling. They want to play for the fun of the game, not long, tedius hours trying to become one of the strongest or richest players in the game.
