Out-Fox the Thieves of Oren in a Fox Hunt Weekend!

Aden has a bit of a rodent problem, and we need your help to resolve it! Attracted by all things shiny and bright, a den of foxes have made off with a collection of new loot from the lands of Oren – and this weekend you’ll have a chance to steal it back!

Beginning at 12:00 AM (midnight) on Saturday, July 20th, each hour for 48 hours, two unique foxes will be released into the Lineage world on the Ken Rauhel and Depardieu servers. Each fox will carry a minimum of one new game item at random – perhaps a new armor piece, a new spellbook or crystal, amulet, boots, etc. – and the first person to find and dispatch the fox earns the item! In addition, characters that dispatch the foxes will be listed for posterity on the Lineage website.

Want to grab a chance at a fox? Keep an eye out in the forests and deserts as members of this sneaky fox clan try to return to their dens with the loot. The foxes will have unique names (so you don’t chase down the innocent, non-thieving foxes!) We’ll note the character names of those who successfully track and dispatch a fox, and post them to the Lineage website after the event.

yay finally an event! havent had one of these ina long time! i am elf i ended fox in 2 hit with my newbie elf so that mean fox will die with one hit hehehehehehehehehe

Awesome? Are you for real? 2 foxes an hour? This has to be the lamest thing they have thought of. I just logged off because of the bad mood people are in, the desperation for a decent drop in this game is rediculous. This is lame. 96 foxes will spawn for the whole server? What a stupid and retarded event this will be. And in actuality, it will be the axeman morph you will see people racing around in to try and get one of the stupid 2 foxes spawned. I just hope the spawn points arent the same every time...LOL. What a crap event... Every fox should have the chance to drop something good, not just two.

PaVIN must be new... well, let me explain this. 2 foxes hunted by 700 people .... no picture yet? how about the fact that in korean servers they get free cash and good events every month and this is the 1st one sicne the shitty ratman event whic hgot taken out, sicne the shitty bear event which COMPLETELY sucked, and the last good event was the elindare drop event. Where every monster dropped cash like on test server.

P.S. the new thing wasn't a noob insult, it's just that you haven't seen the crap NC has done in the past.

#13 All the other events have been fine. Ignorant players just have trouble dealing with anything less than increased drop events. That's all anyone ever wants. Get over it people.
#17 Everyone I know enjoyed the Gnoll Event. Those who didn't are still mad because they didn't get anything. Typical.

The Event sounds fun to me, even if I don't find any Foxes. 96 new items is nothing to scoff at.

Events don't excite me no more ever since that bear event. I'd search for bears but what do i see? Brave knights in axeman.... Hell i ain't gonna race them for the kill and this fox event? I'll just not even gonna bother looking for them. For gnolls, I tried looking for them for 5 mins and gave up because they aren't exciting either.

With just 2 foxes per hour...I don't see what is there to 'hunt' for. It's pure luck that maybe one will respawn near where you're hunting, or you can waste all your 48 hours looking for them when you might not even get to see one.

As far as I know the events are getting lamer and lamer. Why can't there be an event that EVERYONE will enjoy? I don't see why we can't have events like those on Japanese servers...where you collect some...er..what you call them, metal thingy and trade for rings...I mean, those things are truely useful to the majority of the lineage population since not many ppl enjoy the luxury of ROTC/ROPC or those elemental rings.

Anyways...just pray that a fox will respawn near you starting at 12:00 midnight on Sat. Ohhhh scary -.-

I'm thinking that the special foxes will only run (and very fast) like gremlins (IE, a fox hunt).

One question -- can they spawn in dungeons? Or anywhere in Aden above ground?

They tell you to keep an eye out for the foreses and the desserts. So they will probably spawn only there or mabye will spawn more often there. They say that they will drop a minimum of 1 new item. Im pretty sure every fox is gonna drop its minimum of 1 drop every time. Some should drop 3 or 4 items and mabye even more than that. New item means big $. All that stuff is expencive. New bow crystals ammy Dk armor Demon armor and all the new spells. Good for mages those spells are rare. We should see if that new decay potion spell that the mage on korean test got is here too.unless its only on test. Pretty good event. Your lookin at about 200 new items which mostly all are expencive. Thats some good cash to make hunting. Hunt a few, get some dk armor. Sounds good to me.
