ISP maintenance
For those of you who wonder why all servers just went down and forget easily, remember this post?

Scheduled Maintenance Notification

Our Internet Service Provider will be conducting scheduled maintenance on June 23 from 2:00am to 7:00am Central Time, and on June 27 from 1:00am to 3:00am CT.

Players may experience some latency or disconnections during these maintenance periods.

Okay, I admit, I totally forgot too :(

You have to be pretty thick to play during network maintenance and complain about dying. Just take a 5 hour break if you don't want to die :)

Common system management techniques and common courtesy dictate that, if technically possible, warn your users on the system they are on, that there is about to be maintenance on it. You know, like System messages where they keep telling us to remember to go to the bathroom etc.!!!

i sleep during the maintence thing going on last night...so...nothing happened to my characters, and im well rest =)

and em...catch some z's if you are tired, sleeping in front of the monitor while playing in lineage hunting in dv is NOT good >,<....

Yes they warned on the sites but not everyone checks the sites all the time. This is a game you shouldn't have to research to play it everyday. Common professionalism would definitely dictate that they know the fact that not everyone checks the sites, and thus give in game messages. They can give public service announcements about taking time off from game, but they can't give an announcement that system interruptions will be happening for the next 5 hours? That is just poor management on their part

I agree that they should let people know in game, it may not be under their control, but they still should let people know.

i must admit playing at night is more exiting while hunting in things like dungeons or wl. by the way...im almost paying account, im sharing with friend now. my brother made my emblem. its really a nice emblem. if someone wants to use it....i allow to make screenshot. i had alot of members just in cus of that emblem. but it was newbie pledge (mebbe the ppl of before giran update and pay remember it)
ps: uselessmitch and scaled you are right ^^ didnt think of that.
