LeeGiGum Bubsa 2 - Level 65 Mage

correction: Oops, we had the name wrong - thanks to ksj2712 for finding our mistake, we were just hoping the mage had a weird name. sorry ^^

Jude1004.com (http://lineage.jude1004.com/news/index.asp?pg=/news/view.asp&cts_id=4698) reports that LeeGiGum Bubsa 2 (translation: LeeGiGum Mage 2) has reached level 65 on Paagrio server in Korea. He is the highest level mage in the world (we think). (In September, there was a mage very close to him in level on Einhasad server, DragonElf, he may have the title - we'll keep an eye out).

It took him 14 months to get here (which is actually quite fast!). He was level 57 in September, so the last 8 levels took only 5 months! He said he spent level 52 - 60 in DVC 4f and then 60 - 65 in Forgotten Island -- solo. He recently cut down on his Lineage play (from 15 hours a day to 14..)

LeeGiGum started off as a STR 18, CON 18 mage, but has added +3 to STR, +3 to DEX and +9 to INT in his levelling up. With -79 AC, 572 HP and 382 MP, 67% MR with Immunity to Magic rings, he is quite force to be reckoned with. He didn't give much information about his hunting style or any know-how, but he did mention that he was very particular about every XP and every adena in his hunts.

Note that he does not have all spells. :)

his mp low cause 12 wis if u 18con,18wis mage with 15-16int id put all stats to int just keep putting them on. then on maybe cha for more summon or str/dex

WHy is it in english? His stat menu and "Saftey Zone" are in english... other wise HOLY ! NEO you got almost same ac as 65th level mage! O.O i want -50ac on a mage :( lol us mortals are so sad

i love this mage, my str mage sux for mp too but she has old stats (11int/wis) so it is very good to power lvl like this... if u r enough patient

O.o how can ya be lvl 65 and not have all the spells? guess he just didnt want to bother with some since hes missin lvl 6 spells.. lvl 65 should get summon dire wolf or drake or something..

something I don't understand...

Why have a mage hat if you not gone to wear the mage robe? Why not get the Kerenis crown, for that 1 extra AC?

And why doesn't he/she want to show his weapon? What does a lvl 65 str mage use these days?

only thing i can guess is that mage cap is + to the max. Otherwhise why doesnt he use homr O.o Same ac and xtra mr, a bit more heavy but not much.

I would like to see his weapon too. either sls or sof im sure maybe both

Damn damn damn damn!! This is the ultimate mage!! Wow he would beat up so many knights... so much HP, plus magic! Too sad his mp sucks, but even so, he is AMAZING!! Does he have a +10 SOM? I would bet he does... simply amazing...

Would have been cool if he talked about what he summons... drakes????

Guys, notice that the only spells he's "missing" are the crappy spells. Create Zombie, Mana Drain, Darkness, Weakness, Disease...can any of you say you actually use those spells on a regular basis? No. Although, he does have Invis, which is quite lame. Probably just a status symbol. =P

#26 - He uses mage cap because with that ac it's probably +8 or +9. Who would blow a +5 Cerenis helm? o.o

i bet if the sp cap didnt end at lvl 40 like mentioned above, he WOULD have those "worthless" spells mentioned by rice. could you imagine... mana drain working almost every time on any target under 100% mr o.O it would be a knights worst nightmare to fight him without very high mr if that were so...

ps: i thought they were gonna kill that sp cap...

Man thats a lot of work to make this... But serius, i wouldn't do it this way... Don't like his stats neither his items (i mean the items he use, not how much overzeled they are).

He have less mp then me, just one more SP, some more HP and a lot of AC. But i wouldn't be sure what is better, my ac with my ancient robe giving +12mp per tick to a total of 15mp, or his AC with total 1mp per tick. Also blues improve his regen by a very little amount...

And his mr sux... I have 8X% without those rings.

carol you have some good points.
People have their own ways of playing. This mage likes to kill stuff so he chose str. Also, "some more hp and a lot of AC" is an understatement.
And why do people say his sp and mr sucks. You dont get random gains on these values. You want him to have 20 sp with 21int? 85% mr with 12 wis and only rings? Sorry, but that stuff is impossible.

his a knight-mage,when he hunts, he doesn't need mp regen, it's all in the som, and he probably has like a +10 or +11, maybe even +12(those crazy Koreans~@.@)
so with his 28str and +10som, don't u think he can get mp out of anything???

you know all you saying he isn't that great need to look a little closer. I was thinking that his hit point and AC were all he had better than my 47 MAge.

But the only way I come close is if I fully enchant up and items( powergloves, sof, str ammy, 50 hp belt, int sheild). Ok with all those items and spells I'm pretty close, but what happens if he gets all those items too? then I am left in the dust again.

Base i have better MR and MP, he has better str, int, dex, HP, total AC.
So to him I say wow, and to think I'd be happy getting to level 50 some time this year.

redpig, thats the point.

I'm not saying he is weak for the items he uses (they are very overzeled).

But what is the point of playing a mage to level 65 and it will still fail every para and most decay pots on high mr?

If its just to be a knight that doesnt use pots cuz have healing, then he missed elves... A lvl 50 elf can do a lot of damage and also wont use pots cuz of nature bless... If he made a lvl 65 con elf, added str all the way to 25 he would have a better "knight who dont use pots" char.

The amount of work he put to make the char, both on the overzels and on the level, is just insane. But on my view, due his poor choices, its way weaker then it could be. It is very weak for a pure mage of this level, and its also weak for a "knight who doesnt use pots variant" of this level. For this kind of char mage are old stuff, the ideia is to play a con elf and add str after 50 to 25, then add dex to 18. NB/B2S dont cost int/wis points, dont cost on damage by using a bad weapon (som) and elves are better on dealing damage.

To the guy who said FI mops have lots of mp: no matter what mp they have he can only drain 40. Thats 2 gheals = around 150hp each with his sp. So he can only loose 300hp to each fi mop. I have friends with -6x high ac and -7x low, they are knights so no soft ac. They loose more then that when we hunt there, if they could kill each mop very fast it would be ok, but those fi mops like to swarm you, so its not uncommun to be taking fire from one troll and 3 des while you are killing one kbb, and so on...

but that's his char, he started as a 18str/con mage
that's how he he could lvl up to b a lvl65 mage

I would like to see a mage who could lvl up to 65 by starting as a int/wis mage
it's not like I'm saying it's impossible, if there is 1 that started out like that, I will praise him as god, but it's much harder than str/con

elven magic didn't come out when he was lvl 49, and so didn't softed ac.
I bet this char was made at right about the hype of str mage, and he probably go to lvl50 faster than many knights.................I bet..........

als about his sp, 16 is base(+1sp at 19int,20int,21int) so with int ammy,int shield,wis pot,sos, he can have 21sp, tell that can't para any1.........
he also doesn't need any more mr since putting on a +6mr set will give him probably 90%mr???just a guess.

but to me, that's the best possible char u can have in lineage........u can hurt things like hell, u pk like crazy, u hunt and make pure money,

I drained way more than 40 before............he could use fheal too, that heals 200, before than gheal, amount wise.
he would probaby hunt with ettins, that would help a lot............
