10/16 - Korean Test server update

The following publishes were made to the Korean test servers on 10/16:

You cannot shoot arrows from the cliffs in Forgotten Island any more.
Drop rate of Ancient Scroll have been increased.
Restarting from a town coliseum will now put you back in town.

1. That sucks. I thought all new cliff areas from FV update on will have the firing down/up ability? Bad move. FI = Knight only.

3. Uh, shouldn't that have been obvious before publish?

that sucks i hope many knights die in forgotten island then if i cant shoot down/up i hope mops can rofl.ALL knights go to Forgottenisland and die while i go to fv all mops mine.

So if you were to find Ancient armor or something you'd need to use an ancient scroll on it to wear it?

ancient items are "sealed"...meaning you can't see their stats or wear them until you "unseal" them with an ancient scroll. It's NC's little joke on us...giving us a -12 ac armor that we just stare at ;)

No Taera, I don't think they do either, but rest assured, we will get the same FI as Korea. These updates are nerfs, plain and simple. NCI wants people to hunt in groups. FI requires this. So early reports showed us the knight and two elf squads were successfully hunting FI. Beautiful team work. Now it's been decided that this combination is too powerful and the elves must lose the only natural adtvatage left, shooting from cliffs. The nerf has struck. So the end result? Knight will have no use for the elf. They will best benefit from hunting BK style, while the elves and mages watch from the shoreline or stay at home washing dishes and tending the garden,

I don't know about you, but I've never washed no dishes nor tended a garden. I take my SOF and go out and FIGHT.
As for a natural advantage, I believe it was an unfair one. Why should elves be able to kill without getting hit?
And we don't always get korea's updates....they have lots of things in that we don't, and we have some they don't I am sure..

Jeez, arrows fly through the air. They go up and down and all over the place. If I say that mages should be able to e-bolt off a cliff, would you feel better? 'Cause I really think they should be able to do that too.

1. they don't ahve shield
2. they don't have hp
3. they dont' move as fast as knights

note that a dark elf on fi hit a lvl 50 knight with -60 at 50 to 100 damage eachhit...... elf arn't suppose to get hit a lot.... and how they can manage do that? shot from cliff... but looks like now nci are trying to force bowing elf to become tankers like knights..... man... staffs in nci must have some special bond with knights

And use a sword if you want a shield.
And elves have more HP then mages.
And elves move faster then mages, and at least as fast as an unbraved knight.

Hmm..This cliff thing has me vexed...
If you are shotting DOWN from the cliff that should be entirely reasonable...
But,if you are shooting UP to the top of a cliff, the mop better be near the edge or it shouldn't be possible to hit it with the lip of the cliff wall obstructing you, unless you are far from the edge but then that may be to hard for some to figure out

... .dont you even talk about mages... there is still a little place for elf to stand in fi ..... but here is no place for a mage to survive in there...... use som to hit mop for mp? chop chop they are chopped into meatballs....

o yeah. de can still hit elf.. but i just use de to show an expample... i believe other mops on fi will not be weaker than de........ then what will poor elfs do? -.-

i dont want to go there anyways boo i rather have fv to myself Dep drops so low anyways just got bdai from tauv 1hr ago drops still sucks
i like how korea does the drop system drops go on floor and only killer or first hitter can pick up and noone can touch for some amount of time but of course NC likes how knights come and hit what i hit and they get drops cause NC loves knight. Too bad i cant play korea server i join that so fast forget NC us.

but remember
this place is suppose to b a party hunt place
if elves can camp at the edges of the cliff and shot things off the cliff while his frds watches his back,coi stay down there to pick up drops, then it's too easy
also this does some bad for all classes,cuz it's not just elves that can't shot off cliffs,it wouldn't b so easy to camp a cliff with a whole party of scout morph ppl with bows

this should b a hard place,NC won't let u on or off it so easy~_~
