HERC hits 60

HERC, highest level knight on Ken, has reached level 60 today! He added +1 to DEX (his STR is capped out at 25) and will continue to add points to DEX until he can't any more (which would be at level 70, at which point he says he'll stop levelling). We'll bring you an interview with him when he's DEX 18. :)

If you havent noticed that dex elves get 1 ac for ever 4 lvls then im sorry...but if he maxs out his dex then he too will get the better dex/ac bonus like dex elves

his strength is maxed out
there is not much point adding to con (a few more hp for the next 10 levels)
and dex helps his ac, er and hit bonus

u want him to add to wis????? int????? cha?????

i guess eventually wis for mr... or int for a better ebolt

(1) Highest level does not mean better server. Actually nothing means better server. All servers are best server to someone.
(2) There is a trend for Dep players to hold their level and information secret for a long time. We know of players that are higher level than 60 on Dep, but they don't want to admit it publicly. Hopefully they will come out as they reach their own personal goals. :)

DEX/AC bonus. As you add points to DEX, your AC increases - that's the main reason. However, that stops at 18, thus, I'm sure the other reasons factor into it too. :)

Actually, if he were to do +1 CON for every level for the next 9 levels, he would have 54 more HP than he would if he did not. He obviously values having -6 AC and all other DEX bonuses (DEX 25 at level 70) more than +54 HP and all other CON bonuses (CON 25 at level 70).

also dex helps u hit hansolo is dexknight and always gets bossdrops i was fighting ogre he comes hits 2 times and gets ogrebelt :( he did same thing with darkelder and b2s! dam him!

#32 LC says str would affect the probability of hitting with sword.
LC says dex would affect the probability of hitting with sword.
whats better then if u want to hit often? str knight or dex knight?

The reason people adding dex even though their are knights is that it makes you hit harder. There is a knight in korean server whose stat is 25/23/18 base. He hits "really" hard.

I would think that dex would make you harder to hit too. With it adding ER.

Perhaps when Herc starts going over 18 dex we should ask him to document his ER.

Monticae Urm. I hate to say this but after about level 52 con stops mattering much. It took me along time to understand it. But what does a little more HP matter? The fighting that matters is not freindly no potion duels in front of giran pot shop. Its the fighting at seiges, where potions can be used. And 200 hp is nothing when you have 300+ potions on you. Not to metion that the str night will do more damage and in the time of the fight that damage will add up to more then 200.

Anyways a good place I think to put stat points when you think you have ran out of places to put them is into wisdom. This is a catergory not much explored by knights. But MR is a good thing. And we have all know that a elf can cast the wisdom spell and get up to 40 more mr. That would help out agaist a lot of the stronger mosters that use magic and melee attacks.

An hour a day isn't much. He hunts on FI for ~2 hours before returning (he hunts completely solo, so as a knight, you can't stay forever). 6 trips, thats 12 hours of FI hunting, 1 hour of the ship, and we'll say 30 minutes buying supplies. 13 hours 30 minutes. Now he doesn't do that DAILY, but definately on weekends, and almost that on weekdays (though not right now since he running low on $, and has returned to his old friend Fire Valley).

bbknights is mass levelled by a group of people that are responsible for all the other mass levelled SoL dks....
they finish one, move onto the next
they switch the 2 good ac sets they have around to the different chars, depending on who is be mass-levelled at the time
its not bbknights turn right now...
i believe they are working on amazingkiss and damnedtoss

ohhh great names too... damnedtoss.... how about a female knight named Cher?
i find that quite appropriate....

I'm sorry to those I offended/annoyed and I'm sorry for insulting Amer and his staff on how they run THEIR site. I should just feel privileged to be able to come here and read the news. Like some ppl said I mainly hunt FI solo for two hrs and comes back to mainland to restock pots and take boat and again. I take 6:00 and 18:00 boat and Fi gives me 4% per lineage day(4hrs in r/l) so its good exp for me there =)
But when I am low on adena , i come back to fv or get some bosses to make money and goes back to FI for lvl hehe
It always feels good every time u get 1 lvl and thats one of the reason I play this game.(I sure have many other reasons too).
I also want to make little comment about some ppl's flaming about me with no clue tho. It seems that for some ppl like to call high lvl lineage players "no life" which they dont have no clue. You call them cheater cuz they share, you call them no life cuz they lvl too fast , or you call them lazy bum cuz u lvl too slow -.- I don't know if many ppl know this but I've been playing this game since ep.9(heine) and thats about 1.5 year of lineage.Here I made a lvl 50 mage and a lvl 60 knight so far..Many ppl have been playing this game longer. I do love this game and I admit i play a lot but I know I won't be playing this game forever o.o
You play game for fun , thats waht all game is about. lineage is a game after all and I enjoy it. I do also enjoy my life like I travel all around the world every now and then and I take many lineage breaks when i get bored or have something else to do. I will take another 2 weeks break next month and come back in june. So dont' call ppl have no life or cheater unless u know for sure.
Only losers call other ppl loser =) If I played my char 24/7 I could get 1 lvl every 4~5 days. Maybe some ppl like DAOS should learn how to play this game or how to lvl or even how to judge ppl b4 make comments here =P
I set my goal and acchieve it, nothing wrong with that.

HERC you should think about bringing mage or 50+ water elf with you to FI. 1.5hrs for 1% and dont use any pots. also save time cuz you dont have to travel on the boat. :)

bbknights is not lvl52 before herc,bbknights fights almost everyday,herc hunts just about everyday.damnedtoss had been 49 for over a yr, is it so hard to lvl 1 lvl in a yr?

And high HP does matter. Players with HP in the 600+ range can survive fights with powerful monsters and bosses, and possibly even take a hit from a Dragon before going down.

I don't think it's safe to assume who's sharing and who's not. I think if all the SoL members were sharing with as many people as some of you think, they'd all be in their 60's by now too. Some people just play more than others, and some like being bored all the time (Hunting after 49.) I honestly don't believe anyone who plays at high levels (52+?) is having a blast hunting.

Oh yeah, some of you need to get off HERC's d--k.

its quite ez herc makes 1%an hour on FI most ppl at 49+ make 1% every 2-2.5 hours off course he lvls alot faster then. from the moment a person can solo FI they lvl twice as fast as they did b4. some ppl who really have no live hunt 16-20 hours a day and make the same % as herc does in 8-10 hours.
and daos who the hell are you on ken i will kick youre behind if i c you in siege, if you really wanna call ppl losers go to korean boards of lineage there are ppl there that play a char 24/7 SOLO some even died after a few days of continous hunting. now that kind of ppl have no life.
(note: some koreans do this not all that play)

I actually have a few friends who somewhat enjoy hunting in Lineage but whats the point of getting a high lvl if it takes like 2-4 people to do it? Me and my friends aren't "focused" enough to get a high lvl in Lineage, I guess we have less important priorities to attend to lmao

pirooz, is there any reason in particular that you feel it appropriate to insult HERC? Did he do anything to you that would give you reason to ridicule his accomplishments or does your life really suck so much that you find it neccessary to criticize others for something that makes them happy? Seriously, is it an insecurity issue for you? No life? What do you know about HERC? Ever met the guy in real life or are you one of those clowns that runs your mouth about someone, knowing nothing about them, because you think it will somehow hurt their feelings and make you feel better about yourself. Here's a few facts about HERC. HERC does well in school. HERC has friends.
