color-coding of monster names

With this most recent publish, we got a new monster color - no color at all (some people call it White). Here is a reminder of what all the colors on the names mean:

None means that the monster is 60% of your level or less. For example 60% of 47 is 28.2, so all level 28 and below monsters will have no colors around their name.
Green means that the monster is 2 or more levels BELOW you.

Blue means that the monster is between 1 level BELOW and 2 levels ABOVE you.

Gold means that the monster is 3 to 8 levels ABOVE you.

Red means that the monster is 9 or more levels ABOVE you.

First Post. Just to let you know. It appears that the new color coding didnt make it to the mac version of the client. All mops are still colored no matter the level. I've confirmed this with several other macintosh users. We have no white mops.

News for Demon & Death Knight sets!!! (it's not official yet)

Demon Set(when all equiped): you will be moprh to demon regardless of your level(we all know this). you will be identical with monsters. you need to hold ctrl key to attack monsters. Alignment will be reduced when you kill monsters. it will not effect PvP situation.

Death Knight Set(when all equiped): you will be moprh to death knight regardless of your level. you can not use heal spells nor receive. unlike demon set, there is no change in hunting with death knight set. however, other players can attack you without holding ctrl key and they will not become Chaotic even they kill you. you can not use weapons made of silver, oriharukon, or mithril (e.g. Rapier, Mail Breaker, and Elven Spear)

-Pretty senseless because most of the things I can hunt (with ease) now are colorless.
-They have not implemented the exp-loss system so don't worry, but I'm not sure what they are going to do with today's reset.
-DK and Demon Sets...So those are the penalties for wearing them? LoL well we've heard enough rumors about them maybe we should wait for official confirmations.

Those who hunt white things are COWARDS!!! Hunt things your level!!!

Just kidding... most mops I hunt are white or green, more so as an int/wis mage... today I got offer for 1 million for my +4 SOF.... that is CRAZY. Really tempted to sell it, but I want to try it at +6... or should I bdai it?

Well at least the penalty for dk set is not that bad since by that time i would it, I would have a +11 tsu
And if you need a heal just take off a piece of the set or just use pots ^^

I have a level 49 elf who hunts FV and I have some serious issues with these color-coding of monsters (like everyone else of course). Well it seems that the only mops who show up colored are tsavaurus, lava golems, and astagio other than ifrit of course.

For the players who have never had to experience the pain of level 49 it takes approximately 160 minutes of hunting time (not including regen of mp) to get 1%, where i'm going with this is it will be next to impossible to level to 50 for us unless we go to dvc 5th - 6th. To take into consideration the pot delay most of us won't be there very long. As for DV, every mop shows up white but cockatrice. So in short, there will not be anymore advancement of levels of high level players and more importantly NO level 50+ dex elves if they put the xp udpdate in.

..and..killing mop decrease alig pts lol...how the hell u hunt with those now lol

pendragon....the new patches prevents not only lv 49 dex elves to advance but for all classes except knights...
so...more lv 50+ knights, less likely lv 50+ prince/ss, mages, elves

OMG I hate this update....my mage is useless!!!!! im stuck at prep school with a firewall so i cant play lineage cept when i go home like 2 a year. I bought summon at x mas for 450k and now price will drop dramatically cause of this damn cha/6 stuff. but that isnt my main beef the main two things i got a problem with is the crappy pot delay and the EXTRA DAMAGE TO MAGES ELVES AND PRINCES! my lvl 39 mage get WORKED by a gsa 1:1 and since im chaotic i cant even use spells to heal myself !!!!!!!!!AGHHHHHHHH

this cant be right... i have a princess who just yesterday lvld from 18-19 on losus and at 18 the gators were green. but at 19 they became white. now unless the gators have become like... lvl 9 then this cant be right...
