Test Server reminder

Are you interested in helping test the latest updates and changes coming to Lineage in the near future? If so, we recommend using a separate copy of Lineage to join us on the Lineage Test Server! Specific details and instructions for joining the Test Server can be found here.

The Lineage Test Server is not a full-service game server. There is no customer support for this server, and we urge that you do not consider this to be a regular play server. The test server may be wiped at any time, and there will be no restoration of characters, items, or pets lost on this server due to any causes.

If you experience problems on the test server such as missing npc text, graphical errors, or random client crashes in certain areas of the world, you may not be patching to the test update server correctly. To ensure that you are connecting to the test update server and game server correctly, please uninstall/reinstall lineage and follow our test server instructions EXACTLY.

there is no customer support for this server...........

maybe it is the one that SHOULD have some in game support, for testing purposes maybe??? Sounds to reasonable probably? I am sorry people, i will stop making sense now... it is obviously a waste of time.

but i see at least 2 monitors there every time i log in there lol
i dont see that many monitors in regular servers tho o.o

I don't think it was advertising so much as telling people how to do use Test the right way. I heard that a princess managed to crash her pledge after she back from using Test with the same client...

Monitor is not support. Thats why in dep and ken we have support13 and such and we also have monitor21(coolest guy on nc staff). Test only has monitor to monitor the things on test but no support.

I am super confused , Support all but tells me TOA don't apply to the Test Server. Then QAs , Mel, and others tells me it does... Ontop of that they reward players for breaking the system, and punish everyone , for a few who do break the system.

I don't know anymore , if they want people breaking the Test Server I know 50 people I sent off to EQ who will be happy to do it. It makes me totally sick to see people working hard , reporting bugs , then wipe because NCsoft-US decides that handful of people ruin the testing field.....

So many quit last night, over Support's response to racism and expoliting the system. Thank god , that Eq is giving away 90 days , give people a chance to calm down. (Hit Sony's Station/Swg thing to get 30 days , use 3 email accounts and they give you a password use it 3 times to get 90 days.)

#9 I'm still not sure why you still play Lineage, since everytime you post, you make it so clear that you think Lineage is the Devil.

Some of you players are too intent on thinking that NCSoft is out to get you. If you hate them so much, why do any of you continue to play? I know I'd be happy if everyone who whined would quit. Then the servers would be less crowded.

They're just reminding some people who regular test to not whine when your item gets deleted, missing etc or the server getting wiped. They can say "I told you so" and not take any blame because it's your choice to play test.

test is fun.. i dont give a damn if they wipe it.. it takes me 7 days for level 45 and -50 ac wiht +7 wep.. after that the whole fighting makes it alot more fun.. i try to hunt in dep again but its too boring i cant do it.. and please no one else come to test its very very crowded :(

We cant play on test during the free trial period, until we start paying for...
That is pretty retarded cus customers are basically paying to get their items and characters wipped....

Vail I have been here since beta, and lived thru all kinds of hell. Found tons of bugs , adopted newbies among other things. I test and run DOM pledge on Dep.

You think I whine that is fine and good. I know more about Lineage than most of the veteran who have been playing longer, I don't do everything public. But when I do speak in public it means I am at the end of my rope.

I have a pre-paid account til October , I have every right to voice my concern. Half the Test are rejects , and more than half are the ones who were expoliting bugs during the dog bug. I along with the VOJ members are the ones who figure out how to get dogs out without being right next to the kennel.

There has been alot brewing on Test that makes my skin crawl. NCsoft-US has made it apoint to reward those few who expolit thier system while everyone else gets punished.

Wipping is no big deal , what is a big deal is , the fact that a select group of players , expolit the system and become miles ahead of the rest of the server.

Within hours of the server coming up from wipe , the dragon was slain. Do you have any idea what it is like to face players with an unfair edge? I was the first person on Test to have a COI ever , it gave our pledge leader (Outlaw) and (Allgood) a chance to do things other players couldn't do.

I am all for testing , all for wiping , but it is not fair to those of us who don't cheat and who don't expolit the system , to be punished for something we had no control over.

I asked them to post better info on test server access.
All those people who where crashing to there desktop, where having a bad target line. and wern't getting all the info. Support's Q&A team went back and forth with me over 15+ times just to find out what was wrong. Thx to them :)
I can play again!!
