Yeah i played wc3 alot for awile o.0 Not as much anymore as i used to it was a lineage replacement for about a month. You can trust me that the 2nd monster isnt a replacement for female mage.

The 4th one is a Arch Lich, the term Lich has been around alot longer than warcraft 3 or diablo, a Lich was a warlock so bent on learning power he turned tword necromancy and soon kept his magical powers even in death that kept his corps animated and bent on destruction.
At least i think thats how it goes, I think it goes like Lich, arch lich, then lich king.

looking at the npcs.....looks like there will be a pirate hideout hehe
ship battle maybe......interesting episode coming up
that giant boss...I think could be our missing titan mop...
the mop that will drop titan belt.....
the last one.....yea.....gonna be Lich...looks exactly like Lich in other games except with flashy clothes....but I don't think they will call it lich king.....too much wc3...lol...or if NC wants to get creative with the name or something pretty lame like what ppl r saying "death mage" which I think is stupid if they call it that....hope it drops us some lvl 10 spells.....it better....
looks like the city of aden is filled with all new npcs...
I know it will probably take a few months before we actually receive this episode but I'm glad we'll seeing some work that will be put into it....
I rather them take longer and create an excellent episode rather than some cheap quickly done one....than again...that is up to NC korea to do the work...

that lich looks like a clown with that orange hair --; why he has a green face is unknown to me t.t

mop #2 i doubt is the new mage... she looks like a drwoned corpse... all water bloated... all except her face that is. its the only color on her body that isn't "death" tone. (she has bad posture too, such posture isn't befitting a young sorceress)

the last ??? npc is playing a harp, so ill call him "harp player"

that second ??? npc looks like a female pirate, so i call her "female pirate"

Maybe with all these pirate/bandit looking npcs NC will enable a trade option between castles. Then bandits could attack the caravans traveling between town, and it would be like a random quest that pops up every now and then to stop the evil bandits.

Also that third picture looks like a ninja.

Guys, could you tell me how I can check the sprites myself?
I mean, where do you find them all?
I know that when you update Lineage, then the files are downloaded... and you can check the sprites out before they are packed...
but the fileendings are so wierd... I don't know what program to wiew them in??
could you guys tell me??
cuz I wanted to use some animations for my private game that im making... a schoolproject...

Anyone know the terrain of this new episode? We've had water, volcanic, ice/snow, now what? I know that this is supposed to be a air/wind theme however most of the new mops don't seem to fit the theme.

#12 I really don't think that these nerfs for mages are actually a bad thing. Mages I still believe are the most powerful chars in the game due to their abilities to use spells that affect everything on the screen. You can't kill mops in one hit but if 10 mages were to appear in the same screen casting spells on a screen full of mops they'd end the mops alot faster than 10 knights. I think you just gotta know how to play a mage.

as far as the elemental theme of this episode being wind...
I can see what they might do...
if they got pirate ships and such, a ship in the ocean, I say that would deal with wind.....
for those dragons and flying mops we r beginning to see, my best guess would be a large mountain reaching to the top of the sky that has a path going in and out of the mountain, this being the large dungeon that leads to the wind dragon
pirates hideout could be in the mountains too
let's see what NC comes up with.......

#50 - sure, if you can find 10 mages to group together, you can end all the mops on screen. Once every few minutes, cos mana regen (if you haven't played a mage to find out for yourself) is awful. 10 knights would be too many to group on single mops at a time - two groups of 5, 3/3/4 etc would be able to kill them all quickly, and then go on to kill more, and more, and more again before the mages have enough mp to go kill the next lot. How many mages do you seen hunting fv with blizzard, or oren with firestorm? FS is 90 mp, which at an int/wis mage + blue standing still gives a tick of 16s and 11 mp per tick, that's 2 full minutes of regen per cast. You can't cast once and take out a pack, so its going to take longer than that. With SOM whacking a mop in oren or fv gives you mana and burns your pots; using medi speeds your regen but takes 27 mp to cast. I don't know about blizzard, since I find using a +6 hbow and using the mana to heal instead is far far faster than using spells. Granted I do less damage than an elf would with that or a knight would with the equivalent, but getting to 39 and 40 in a normal hunting day with pure spells and SOM/blues would never have happened. Fs, blizz and eq are used in giran square, and to flag some/all/a few of the mops onscreen as aggressive and then venzing to avoid a pk and get the message across not to try that again.

Edit: Oh yeah, and fs from coi in sieges.

i really wouldnt doubt if da 2nd one is a female mage model seeing as they seem 2 have made a new male knight model and i (and im shur most of da lineage comunity) would like 2 c new sprites 4 da pc class'z... if u look at da mopz there'z da old 1'z from like b4 giran update which look kinda lame and 2d then there'z da newer ones which r koo and very well animated with a definate 3d look 2 them... so y not update da pc character'z to make em look as up 2 date as da game is... maybe even get rid of da whole choppy feel dat every1 seemz 2 kno and luv lineage 4... i mean i thot it wuz jus my puter but then i got a brand new pentium 4 and im still gettin da chop'z so... heheh... anywayz ya new spritez 4 da player char'z would b like da best update since... since... since... wow since a long time actually... i mean player character sprites jus look so out of date compaired 2 sum of da new mop'z such as female elf, male and female knight and female princess who all look really gimp especially wen standing still... who here wouldnt get uber exited bout a new player char sprite pak?

i mean even da npc'z have a better look 2 them... dam npc'z...

i use njstar communicater so my comp can read hte interpitations as chineese symbols o.o or it can be korean but all i know is that its chinese symbols, i like the new mops that are comming out should add some fun into the game :)

I Think the 5th monster looks like a dark mage type boss. Like a Death Knight. Would be an awsome lvl 50+ mage morph.......maybe ..\/. ^.^ .\/.. Probably casts super duper fast.

i wonder if that giant boss drops that HUGE mace, would be cool, like a mace thats 2handed and deals 1.5x or 2x the damage of a normal mace....0.0
but that wont happen.......... :'(
perhaps that "lich" thingie drops SOF more often...
and i think those NPC's really are guards.
i feel like making this post a long one so ill continue :P
i think those other NPC's arent very special... they just say oh oh help us kill the monsters that are terrorising our town! :P
perhaps those guard looking guys are the coast-patrol
those first three monsters dont really look like monsters at least not #1 and #3.... 0.0
