7/10 - Korean Test Server Publish
NC - Korea posted (https://bbs.lineage.co.kr/lineage/new_announcement/pre_lineage/read.asp?ListNum=38&NoticeID=2&PageNum=1 the following publishes for the Korean Test Servers:
  • Pledge members with no title cannot access pledge store. This is so you can't join a pledge through deception and then rob pledge store. If you title yourself with the level 40 bonus, that will NOT allow you in pledge store. The prince has to give you the title.
  • You can now take all of your items into the Road of Pain quest (for Silver Knight's Shield). You can only use the dagger and candle, but no need to store everything or ask anyone to hold your stuff. The dagger and candle will no longer be provided.
  • Heine housing bugs fixed.
  • Miscellaneous other bugs fixed.

Apparently in Korea, it is common for people to run around Giran /joining every prince they can find, and if they catch the prince at the right time, there is a possibility he will just click Yes not noticing it was "join pledge". Anyway, these people would then run to pledge store and steal everything then leave the pledge.

requiring titles! What a stupid concept. you should have the prince make it possible to limit pledge storage acces, this title thing is just plain dumb!!

I also think it is a great idea. You can have it so that there is a trial period before titling, or a trust level is achieved before titling. Good idea, I hope this one makes it here.

i played a newb prince and everyone who join will ask the following
/join
can i have title?
*check storage and raid all items if any
/leave
*log off

doesnt really help heh..

You're missing the point. You don't even realize they are part of the pledge. They just /join you, and you're busy and do not notice that they did. So it would work like this.

Them: /join
You: Hit Enter and think it's a /trade or something else
Them: Run to storage and start cleaning you out.
You: Still wondering why the /trade window didn't come up or why you got that weird window.
Them: /leave, and it echoes to pledge chat
You: Just realized you were robbed.

i like this update... I hope it makes it too. It will make titles more meaningful, which in my humble opinion would be a good thing...

too much noise at times with those titles.... jeesh.

If you say so Amer, but those Princes need to learn the game and are no different then the people that drop stuff into storage in a hurry and put it in the wrong storage, like inot Pledge storage instead of personnel. Or the ones not paying attention and buy SUmmon and then run to the wrong temple in order to learn it.

I mean how much hand holding is needed in this game.

Maybe I am being a little idealistic, but it would make much more sense to
leave the pledge joining command in the control of the prince(ss).
i.e., prince having to enter the command while facing a prospective member, and the individual accepting, rather than the reverse as it is now.

In addition, it wouldnt hurt to have a means of granting or denying access to pledge storage for each member, aside from titles.

You wouldn't have to remove the /join, just have the prince(ss) do it to prospective members. Then you wouldn't have to change the command, just who does it. That's probably the better way of doing it anyway...

its a good idea in the works...
better than what they did to som anyway...
as for title, you can't title yourself in pledge even at 40+, have to get your leader to do it for you.
not sure if that is true for titles you had before joining though...
