Nowhere in this article does it say that NCSoft wants to be the only online service provider (which would be a monopoly - aka AT&T in the 70's, Microsoft now)...

But instead NCSoft wants to be one of the biggest and best and having good global penetration. A lofty goal, but one that most every company has... =)

NCsoft in a press release said that they want to become the Monopoly for online gaming. No there isnt any law agaisnt it in some countries.

microsoft's and sony's monopoly's taking every bite out of the small companies, run nc run!

...many ppl in usa not even heard of the game called "lineage" or the company "NC"...

...i wonder if that's a good move or a bad move in usa market's perspective..
considering that almost 50% gamers gone in usa servers...

i was tlaking about the online gaming like big pope said but i wasnt talking about them trying to monopolize isp's cause i havent heard anything about ncsoft even being one.

I don't think Kim putting his faith into the Garriotts brothers is a very good idea....actually I its the worsest thing that Kim could ever do to expand his game troughout the US....That's just my opinion.

Actually, the Garriot brothers have been successfull in everthing they've done, and if NC is to truly make a mark in the US, they need the big names here in the US to make it work. The biggest problem here in the US server is that people have no patience, and no willingness to look at the overall big picture that they are attempting to create. Yea, some of the changes that have been made seem like they suck, but if these changes would have been there from the start, the way they should have been, you'd not hear the whining that we all must live with on global and the message boards all the time..lol
