Details on the new magic

Nue was able to retrieve graphics of what look like the new elven magics, as well as the Korean translated names for each of the new spells. Some good stuff!

I was right about the sheildy ones!
Anyhow some of these sound like the spells we have now but with the names changed and new picture...
Erase Magic= cancel
Darkness= blind?
Or are these for the elves?

I think those might all be for elves
which is cool for elves. It gives elves a reason to make an elf mage I suppose
but they should really concentrate on mages more. They keep saying they wont introduce the powerful spells. Well without them a mage is useless. I mean without mana pots those spells are like one time casts anyways so there's no chance of someone getting super nuked unless it's by multiple mages. :)
But I do like the idea of elf only magic. But only if they can't learn the regular magic as well. And if they can't learn the regular magic... do those who already know it then lose them?

whats the point, ppl will just camp it like everywhere else. This whole game is getting to be camped all the time so bosses = no fun
and regular mops = pointless/dull/boring

I REALLY want those spells Badly even through im 99.99999999999999% sure they will be elf spells i really want them to be mage. This makes me want the high level mage spells no I mean think how stupid it would be for elves to be betetr tghen mages at magic and normal fighing. That would toaly mess lineage up very badly. this makes me want th mage spells even more I mean it would be very un fun if elves ruled in magic cause then no onwe would make mages But i think that some of those spells have the exact same effect as a mage spell like erase magic and bless weapon just renamed. But I want to remind NC soft that mages are supposed to have the best magic so they shouldnt go and make the elf the best if they do im starting an anti lineage program and get all the mages to revolt and totaly freak out the game like PKing all newbs so that they say ahhh lineage sucks you cant even go 10 feet without gettin killed. Then we will mess up people by setting drakes and other stuff free in towns. And then all magges wil stop playing lineage and a good amount of people are mages so NC will lose a good portion of profit. Andnow I want to tell u NC soft that u should put in every mage spell I ont care if they are dropped even rarley by Valakas I want all spells cause even if ! mage with destroy can kill in a 1v1 we cant cast it alot so against about 10 knights we will die. Each class has btter have its own specialty Knights can fight alot of peeps at once and mages rule in 1v1 Elves Use bow can can kill alot of people from far off while princes can command castels.

Wow so many cool spells. Mage/elf duels will be cool with blind - mana drains - silence - counter magic - spells all being cast...

I reckon these are th new elf spells. Mages had better get get some high level spells in the new update - Some pretty powerful spells are needed, or elves will beat mages with magic and knights will beat them at duels....

This is SWEET! Since I have elf, I'm looking forward to these undates coming. But I have to say something here. People in NC are trying to give elves more advantage on magic. I agree with them since they were not much better than knights. However, I do not agree on making elves too much powerful on magic. Now, what I'm basically saying is that they should have some other updates for mages also.

By the way... all these magics are suppose to be casted by mana? Wow, elves would definitely need to have some mana.

They also said that they were introducing new elemental magic to elfs.. so I think about half of those spells are for elfs.. and the other half for both mages and elfs.

Every ten levels elfs get another element aparantly.

and why would you want to resist element when you can resist magic....

maybe silence is like ghast silence... cant use magic... that would make mage vs elf fights suck, cuz mages only have magic as so many of you say "mages for magic not for fighting with fists" What happens when an elf silences a mage and mage is only left with a stick for defense? (just speculation, think silence will do this bcuz a couple othe rpg's have silence spell that makes only melle combat available and cuts out magic useage)

and i think bless and holy weapon are different, think bless is same as enchant (how dumb seeing as how theres already enchant weapon available in game to elfs and mages) and holy will make it a holy weapon which hurts undead and demons (demons are evil, holy is... holy aka good)

maybe clear mind clears certain spells? such as blind or poison? (again this is dumb cuz cancel available in game which cancels magic, which is available to both mages and elfs)

erase magic seams like same as cancel to me (read above...)

darkness blinds apponents? what does blind do, make you see???? (stupid question but you get my point)

decrease weight could be like str, but again elfs can learn str. and elfs are still stronger then mages, so elf with str and decrease weight has double carrying capacity.

think resists are like this, cast resist magic, u resist magic, cast alement you resist all elements, cast certain element resist resist that element. this can make you resist magic x1 resist elemnts x2 (because im sure 2 different spells can be stacked, resist element and resist say fire, you resist fire x2, whereas you only cast resist fire, you resist x1)

(thes arent in order)

if elfs get these then reg magics should be taken from them, plain and simple (give or take a few such as attack spells) either that or give these to mages as well (also give or take a few)

and im not complaining, just that elfs arent spose to be for magic, mages are. (as so many of you have pointed out in the lineage forums)

Actually.. it said the humans betrayed the elfs, and with it the elfs lost touch with the humans, borrowing deeper into the forrest near the mother tree.

Mages were the ones tought by elfs how to cast spells, but humans were not so close to nature and with the lack of this bond came other spells, destructive spells, like the nature of the human race.

Some thing like that ^_^

I'd love to see elves get these magics - But mage had better get a lot of the lvl 8-10 spells or they're just be too weak in a magical duel compared to elves.

Imagine an elf with a resist magic shield on, draining your mana - And all you can do is erupt him (he resists all your para's/freezes). All he has to do is pop a wafer and the mage is owned....
