Korean Test server updates
NC-Korea (https://bbs.lineage.co.kr/lineage/new_announcement/pre_lineage/read.asp?ListNum=26&NoticeID=2&PageNum=1) reports the following updates to the Korean Test server:

  • If you use the spell Curse Poison on a character that has a purple name (because of an attempt at PK), then you will not lose lawful points any longer.
  • If you are poisoned by a ghast, and then poisoned by a ghoul, the ghoul's poison will be cancelled.
  • Starting from when a dog becomes level 25, dogs will be hasted for 1 hour after leaving the kennel.

the canceling of poisons is an interesting twist, nice antedote. Is the opposite also true that if you are poisoned by a ghoul and then by a ghast you will be cured?

Ok, that's another one that US had first. Our dogs do auto haste, the time is questionable but it's there and you can't be poisoned when you are poisoned by a ghast. Granted you can't talk, but you don't lose any hp. I always hunt a ghast before heading someplace that is ridden with poison (ghouls, ungo, vakuuk, or ramia)

I switched to dobermans from wolves when I heard about this (thought it was 26, but whatever :D). As a prince, I have three dogs w/ me all the time, and the one hour bit seems accurate. I ran some simple tests by putting all three dogs on stay, then walking away and blowing the whistle. EVERY SINGLE TIME, the dog that had just levelled was faster and the dogs that had NOT just levelled were slower. Last night, when I was with some others after hours of having the dogs out of the kennel, I tried it again, and none of my dogs were hasted, so it seems to be true that the haste is only good for a short period after taking them out of the kennel.

Lesson learned....not only is it true for the one hour after leaving the kennel, but it's true right after they level, too. Other members in my pledge have reported similar results. GREAT to have gotten an update before the other servers, for once! :p

For the first 10% of each lvl since about 26 my dobermann has been hasted. Tho he has never been hasted from the kennel - Apparently this affects lvl 39+ dogs?
