TuffBuff hits 50!
TuffBuff is the 26th level 50 player to be announced to Lineage Compendium. (Note the corrected sequence number, sorry for any confusion). He is the 4th mage in the USA and the 3rd mage on Ken to reach this level.

TuffBuff is a STR mage with +7 Staff of Force and +9 Staff of Mana. He started playing in March and 10 of those weeks was spent from 49 to 50.





Congratulations TuffBuff! (sorry to post this so late but those California beaches are hard to leave -- time to invest in wireless on my laptop!)

actually for non-str its about 4-5h non stop in good spot.

Gentile from Ken was the first level 50 mage, was 18 con, 18 wis, 15 int. Kurei3 was second lvl 50 mage on ken and is str/con, as is buffy.

I dunno bout that list of yours. I know exekiel quit ken server cause he blew his +9 b-tsu unless hes gone back or somethin. Also theres ALOT of lvl 50+ people. I remember so long ago there were many many lvl 49 people but now theres not as many lvl 50 people. Thats because people do not like to share their lvls but theres gotta be over 100 lvl 50's at least. Anyways Congrats Tuff, you earned it

And what about the bonus for mages? is it the spell/scroll thingie introduced with ep 11? or what?

If it is the one introduced in ep11.... damn, they "balanced" it a bit, didn't they? If every mage can do it, what other reason to reach lvl 50 does a mage have? (apart from reaching lvl 52 and getting ettins ;) )

Just asking, as many there are some lbl 50 mages and more to come (go go go Shinmaril!!! )

Ya, there are a few lvl 50 elfs on Ken, who just don't want to go public.
Their names are......no, I'm not really gonna tell you^^, people on Ken reach lvl 50 for themselves and not for anyone else, that is why most of them don't report to lineage compendium.

Dath at least when we go on dragon hunts we actually do what we were supposed to do and kill the dragon. Ken has killed way more dragons than dep i say. Besides dep has alot more time over ken. Dep was around alot longer so it should have more higher lvls. It should have had the first lvl 50 for each class but who got the first lvl 50? Ken did. And just to let you know there are many lvl 50's on ken. More than you would believe.

having a rolled character with 18/18 took too long and i f u had 18/18 ur other stats r crap.My rolled elf on dep has 17 dex (that was great during beta) but only has 10 in str and con,8 in chr and 12 wis,13 int.If u add up,i have less points than the non rolled characters

the bonus is nonexistant, the scroll thing was a rumor. The latest rumor is that the mage bonus is unknown but will be at level 52 instead of 50 -_-

DathKnight is right. if there were any Level 50+ Elves, they would tell LC because they would want to be known as the first Level 50+ Elf. And as for that first Level 50+ crap. Where's Gentile now? How come he couldn't get to Level 52?he quit because he couldn't take the heat. Has anyone even gotten past 50 on the Ken Server? I doubt it. Unless there's alot of players over Level 52 we don't know about, who cares? A person who's Level 50 is just another guy with a pretty morph and a few more HP.

on the dragon hunts ive been on faf never "wasted" all his mp, you just have to get knights close to him. sometimes he doesnt bubble at all and sometimes once, but when the knights start hitting him he wont do bubble unless they all die, but thats what resers are for o.O (same way with vala, if knights stay close to him he wont do meteor)

Wow your slow. Since you don't know jack about Ken server why dont you shut your trap -.- . The truth is since Gentile didn't get a REALgood mage bonus at lvl 50, he quit and NEVER logged on again. BTW Ken was great untill the whole DK will own PK thing came into effect. So then EVERYONE joined Dep.

the reason dep server isn't all 50+ is for one like sum1 said earlier most of us restart characters becuz of the new point system they put in earlier... another reason is because dep server is s PK server and ken is not... that means almost EVERYONE on dep has been pk'd b4 and probably many many times after -.- as a pk server more ppl go around and pk...... and pledges can go after another during non seige times..... so dep has more chances to waste time and pots and money and %%% just fighting..... ken is nothing but lvling..... tahts all u can do... seige is every couple days -.- other then that u guyz can't fight each other outside of town which suks ass and is so damn boring... i think vail is rite about sum ppl that go to ken are becuz they can't take the heat..... that's all flame me all you want^_^ but DEP FOREVER cuz we have all the fun!!! cept test >.< they more funner!

The reason we get more 50+ mages on Ken justifies how much better Ken is then Dep. Dep is full of a jerks that like to pick on lesser people. On the other hand people go to Ken for the tactical part of fighting. We still fight. But we aren't bandits and thugs. We like to fight. We are just more intelligent. We prefer to use our minds. That is why we get the mages. Dep just gets the Thug knights. LOL KEN RULES

woot im back from my week vacation. dont flame vail saying she dosent know anyrthing she has been around a very long time. so when you see her type read what she says before u gonna go and flame her. Mostlikely why we havent had mroe lvl 50+ mages on dep may be the reason is that most mages on dep go pk or are pked so they usally spend time doing that as in wich Protocol had said. I love the dep server and i belive trhe ken server is just full of wussies. Great Job though. TuffBuff its nive to see that not all knights are hitting lvl 50 ^^

wow i'm in the mood to burn u... I count 3 lvl 50+ mages and 1 lvl 50+ prince on ken, theres some kngihts too but anywayz. Any wayz if the orc mage is attacking u and ur like 2-9 cells away then he'll fb you, but if ur rite next to him (1 cell away) he'll wack u wit his stick. Fafu and Vala are just the same, the guy in the video that 1:1 vala got attacked wit meteor becuz he wasn't next to him, as soon as the knight was next to him he started to scrach him... simple! Go fight a Orc Mage or a Imp Elder, they and other mops in the game have the same or almost the same AI as dragons... plz learn ur stuff before attackin people wit false info.

I was arround in beta ^_^, I remember when there was NO ken server.. and when they made the ken server I decided to check it out, there weren't alot of people seemings how most people didn't want to leave thier old items behind.

I remember hunting with the first level 15 knight on ken once ^_^

Any way back to the point, Ken became really boring.. REALLY fast.

Do you guys even have chaotic people over there?

Whats the point of guards in the game apart from protecting against other pledges in a castle.. oh yeah, whats that nonsense about "good guy" "neutral guy" "evil guy" thing on singing island and hidden valley? It's all nonsense on ken. Rolling took a very long time, I remember the first mage I made.. I didn't even roll I just played, got him up to level 16 ^_^ it was a fair effort, then I made another mage and rolled a bit.. that took a while ^_^.
As for the dragon hunts... -_- if you call that "fun" try going on a PK hunt with you a four palls.. nothing funner.

And if your a mage you might actually get a drop!

To me half my hunting habits revolve arround where PKers might strike.. which is fun believe it or not because it sets up a food chain, even though I am full lawful I'm still scared of being killed.. but I consider myself a hunter hunting all over Aden and there's a chance of me being hunted... it brings the game into perspective dammit.

Zyre, it is not a point of which server is the best. that is a hard one to even begin to calculate.

But on a basis of origin and amount of things you can do the dep server is the one in the lead.

And the fact of the matter is the only thing different is you can attack other people and be attacked, so when I see ken people calling us murderers (nice one, great thinking there) I can't help but think you guys are all cowards, because lets face it, there's only one difference between ken and dep and thats the PK's... I feel sorry for ken people when some one comes along and steals all thier mops and annoys the living crap out of them..

Many people tell me that PK server is fun, well...there's 2 point of views on that one. Ok I agree it can be fun to fight with pp and such, and maybe kick their ass if they steal your mop. But the downside is if you're hunting....hmm lets say FV and u 1:1 ifrit...and this stupid PK'er comes along and starts to hit you and you have this pot delay who probably will kill you if you don't tele fast enough... is that any fun? #98-> on dep I have been attacked by a pk once about 1,5 years ago when I was a newb. Getting attacked by a pk on dep is as rare as making a +8tshirt and dying from a pk is as rare as making 2 +9btsu in a row.

You think that just because people dont want to get pked or dont like to pk that makes them weak. There are alot of people on ken that can end alot of people on dep. And same thing other way around. Dep has alot of strong people too. Some people play because they dont want to be bothered by people and just like to lvl up and get strong. So they choose ken. Some choose ken because they think that dep is full of a bunch of *** holes and they enjoy playing with friendly people. Well, what can I say, Ken people are very defensive aren't they.

Which doesn't come to a suprise to me, lol the only fights they can get into are ones with words.

I do not know what the ken representation of dep server is, but if you have played dep and went to ken I hate to break it to you.. it was because of PK's, and I have no idea how the hell you guys can post stating other wise.

I am telling you some facts here, and you guys bring on the same arguements of "If you dont like ken then dont play there" and then intoning that I go arround killing newbies.

This is a HUGE misrepresentation of dep server right here and tells me right off the bat that not only are Ken people defending Ken lying to THEMSELFS about the reasons they joined ken from dep (if that is what they did) but they are also mis-informed or just haven't played dep.

As a newbie I was pked MANY times, it's just another part of the game after the first five deaths, get full lawful and you dont drop any thing.. then the only thing you loose is some exp which is free any way, albeit not nice it's better then droping items all the time.

As for the topic of "stealing" mops.. I mean pure and simply... nothing is left for you to kill.. if this person wants to kill every thing in that area fine you might say "just move on and stop complaining" <--- typical response I got on ken, and that was all pretty, but when I did move to another area and this person moves with me.. it is quite easy to se that this person is intentionaly trying to annoy you.. and this is the only method of annoying some one I have seen on ken apart from using miscelanious spells..

Also for the record I wasn't the one who started the whole arguement between the servers, though I dont mind some competition ^_^

Oh yes, and also to be put on the record, I dont have any pk char on dep, nor have I wilfully killed some one (dog bug + fireball = dead newb).

One last thing.. I haven't seen in any way how my posts were stupid.. Please inlighten me I would like to know.

Ken is better then dep, its as simple as that. I started playing ken the second day it was up. Why is ken better then dep? Less Bugs. What do i mean less bugs? Less stupid chaotic bugs with dogs. You dont have to worry about someone griefing you with a stupid pet or accidently killing your friends. I remember when you could just sick your dogs on someone and watch them die. You people say its rare that people that are non newbies get pked, but then say that thats what makes your server so damn special? No matter what server your on, the only pvp that really happens is in seiges. Its just too easy to teleport away when someone attacks you in the middle of the forest or something. Dont get me started on mages in coi/morphed or when someone kills somsone while that have a ton of stuff on them. Thats not pvp, thats bullshit.

I'd be playing test now if I weren't too lazy to level up a new character.. and have to start over again at a later date because of resets.. but test is fun, I'll give it that ^_^.

In the end it doesn't even matter which ones best, it's which one suites you best but if there's an arguement ^_^ I want to be in it, like Amer said with the server stats he put up.. "a little server competition doesn't hurt".

And I remember back when eight dogs coming towards you was hell on earth lol.. ahh many times was I hunted down.. and then I remember my dogs being killed back in beta too.. but now I hardly hunt with dogs.. I want to level not make money ^_^

Hmmmmm I started on dep when i got a trial account last year I might have actually stayed except for the Pking, personally I liked Pking but I kinda had some bad experiences with it hehe, I played dep for 3 days of my little trial account, I was Pked 12 time o.O my personal favoite was walking down the beach in TI some female mage walks up c-l's me walks away, that dlvled me so I went and played ken hehe, oh well strongest server is test :P seen two lvl 52 elves there already at least i think they were lvl 52, in de morph ^^

I believe ken is for little sissy's who can't take the heat... or else why else would there be a ken server? ken server was made becuz many ppl couldnt take the heat and became sissy's and went to nc complaining about pks...so when nc started losing customers they needed a way to keep those ppl who couldn't take the heat playing --;; so thats how ken server became about.... sum of u ppl on ken are thinking oh yea if i came on dep with my items i'd beat u.... that would probably be true, u know why? because u can make those good items easier then ppl on dep. all u guyz do is HUNT and every couple days seige -.-;; wow big deal... thats almost 90% of ur time spent on lineage is hunting and becuz there is no pks on ken server u don't have problems hunting and dieing cuz of it.... most of dep is jus ppl fighting cuz they nutz/idiotic/having fun which consumes alot of our time so we cant earn money and stuff as fast as ken. I also bet that if u started on dep instead of ken u wouldn't have those 5xac and 8btsu so easy becuz i know as a fact you would die more and have difficulties getting those items fast...... WHICH is a good thing because its A CHALLENGE... ken server is no challenge what so ever... its sorta like test in a way...... test has pk but its so easy to make items and such just like ken server becuz no one drops anything and its just so damn easy! omg..... if i were on ken i'd be just like test but with bad drops --;; i would get to the top in no time....

As for the stupid ass comment about how dep server has been open longer...... i ask you... how many ppl still have those characters? i bet 95% of the ppl that played on beta quit their chars or jus simply started all over.... and when the new adding points to stats system came... i think a lot of mages restarted cuz of bad stats.... so taht arguement of dep has been on longer is just stupid -.-

1)Newbies that flamed Vail lolz... Vail been around since like forever..
2)Both server are good.... Dep cause you ppl are vets and can ahndle being pk'd or Ken Newbies who cant ahndle it, or like some of my friends on Ken stayed cause they had good ac/weap so they didnt want to leave to dep where they have bone set abnd rapier...
3)Harder to lvl on Dep so less 50+ nope... more 50+ then ken... Pomme is 54right now i believe...
4)There would be like 200+ more lvl 50 player on dep if they didnt restart and kept their rolled characters..
5)Dep server actually is better... they kill anthuras & faf legit... soon my ppledge goin to hunt valkaras we ahve found a startagey that might work... ken killed faf by wasting faf's mp.. i kno cause i was at one of the dragon hunts on ken... on dep they attacked it right away and didnt stop...
6) Newbies on dep dont get pk'd anymore well not often because they ahve nothing good to drop to pkers so they arent hunted...

The only n00b's here are the ones that think Dep is the best server ever. You think you're soooo cool 'cuz u can pk ppl and and can get pk'd ans u can HANDLE it...lmao. Here's some thing you ken people didn't know about dep..

WE HAVE COMBAT ZONES TOO.

Yes, thats right, not only can you slaughter people any where you want.. you can have "consented" battles with others too.

That reminds me.. onto the topic of Dep being newbie killers..

Singing island and hidden valley are safety zones..

dont give me this nonsense that we kill newbies all the time.

Also, 90% of dep players (not chars but players) aren't pk's, the idea behind dep is that you CAN kill people any where.. and for a penalty as well, but that does not mean every one kills.. it simply isn't worth the risk to kill some one who might be full lawful then get killed by town guards and you loose your full lawful status yourself.. meaning you have a chance of droping items.

I dont know if many of the ken people have tried dep, but it is by far a much NICER server.. not as many ASSHOLES in general.. because all the ASSHOLES on dep have been put into place, and most of the PK's I have faced are INTELLIGENT enough to attack me when I am weak.. which makes for an interesting battle, I dont know about ken people but on dep we have this little thing called an escape scroll.. it's a great thing and can get you out of some pretty nasty mess.

Monitor your health.. like any wise person would do any way.. PK's or not, and keep your health above half and you're fine.. I usually leave my health at about two eruptions high (100) just incase.

So far from what I have seen of you ken people in your comments, you all still believe "rumors" and "stories" of dep..

I dont see ken beating dep in a war.. they would be far too affraid if thier server became a pk one.. oh yes so very scared to even set a foot ouside thier towns gates.

Bah first of all you're not right Protocol, I don't think you really can belive in that yourself 'cuz I don't think you have the full experience of both servers, nor do I. If you have played Ken then you know that Ken is a server for people who wanna be on the good side of the of the lawful line. We just wanna play w/o ppl hitting us while killing mops or w/e.

lolz pk takes a lot more skill then duel... duel you can venz when u almost dead.. pkin you have to kill them before they even get a chance too... Pk you have to look for them... pk means victom has pots so they can heal.... haha id like to see you try to walk into DV on Dep... unless you are strong or well known chances are your gunna get pk'd... lolz... and first of all no1 pks newbies.... newbies are a worthless kill since they wont drop items.... only newbies that are killed are newbie that everyone knows has good items... most ppl who are pk on dep are 40+... because they have items that are worth more then a measly 5k not like you Cwat... I wish you thugs would grow up and stop calling me a newb. Anyone that plays this game more then a month i don't consider newbies. For one this game is so simple. This is one of the easiest games i ever played because everyone uses the same shit and looks exactly the same. No room for creativity. Second your ac and lvl don't mean much for game experience. And i am no way from a newb. i been playing for awhile. i just have a life unlike alot of people in this game and had to take a break from video games losers

My theory on why people thinks it's cool to be able to Pk others. They are such losers in real life. They have to show how much more supreme they are in a fake world. ... Cwata... i played Ken... I was Raven... Mage on Ken server from start.. played there for about 2months got bored and went back to dep.. i know what ken was like i helped get SayainBlood2 WW castle... I Help get Quest and the Mercs Kent Castle and i Helped Asuka take over OT...

i know everything bout both server.... Ken server = Duels it use to be in ken server you walk into orctown and Minidisc+Elf4U+Tornado+Zodiac would ask you to duel rite away... wanna know why they never died? because they venz before anyone could kill them... Only PPl in Ken server i respect are Marak2001,ZaiZ,Demigod,Meral,Killalot,Tonk,LIELAC,Quest,ZwingZ, Vietknight,VietMDK,Saiyanman,Brownshadow not sure if they all still play but those were the only ppl who actually knew what they were doing....

Killing someone while they are hunting isnt honorable but who cares it's a game... Cwata what's your name on Ken? When did u start playing Lineage?

PK Makes you Loser? lolz PK makes you stronger not a loser... its the rule of the world only the strongest survive...

Pk is player killer doesnt matter how you do it.. killing another player is being a PK no exceptions...

Now please.. listen here, all of my posts on this topic have been logical ones.

I have used PROPER english and I have made my points in a good manner.. if you are going to look at the pressentation of our posts as a representation of the dep server then please dont be so closed minded as to forget all mine.

Calling me a thug? excuse me mr. Ken person but as I stated I have NEVER pked some one out of a dog bug.

And if ken play the game with thier brains and intelligence like you have said on numerous occassions then let me ask you this... is it LOGICAL to attack some one with the intention to kill when they are at full strength? did napolian wait for his enemies to get resuplies and re-inforcements from allies..

Please don't tell me about logic, I am not a pk and I have been killed both full front attack and from behind and it is my honest opinion that both have worked hence are effective and both as equaly dis-honorable.

Now onto the point of duels being less dishonorable, did you even read my damn post? I don't think you did, I CLEARLY stated that dep server has combat zones, we dont always settle disputes outside of a town..

Also, I hunt in Dragon Valley often and thus far have not been PKed once, perhaps it's because people know of my mage KuRoKoSoN or perhaps it's because I hunt in the right places.

Dep server is not all PK's, get that thought out of your damn heads.
Most of the people are lawful with the exception of some PK's and a few guys who accidentally killed some one outside of a siege zone.. or a bug.

Sure you might not like the idea of bugs and whatnot but it is a much more interesting game when you are being hunted down believe me.

Listen to me Mr.ken people here.. I hate to break it to you but in LIFE, and I do mean REAL life, not every one is born equal, no one has what every one else has and nobody can do every thing some one else can do, thats the way life is, so when I see a newbie F*CKWHIT on ken, (you guys have a tendency to be mortal morons) disrespecting a veterans advice and orders because they know they are under no mortal threat or harm I look at our newbie's who know thier place and are humbler and respect thier veterans advice, because chances are if it worked for the veteran it will work for them.

A couple of days is all I could spend on the server, sorry guys your attitudes stink, your fear of dying is not thier so your mouths grow to a large enough size that the entire game seems to be played from it.

I have no idea how you ken guys can come here and say any thing about the dep server, every thing you guys have said is purely based on asumption.

Like I said in another post, if the ken server suddenly turned into a pkable server, most ken people would be too affraid to step outside thier town gates.. and some ignoramous pointed out that the rumors that ken people are hearing aren't fake...

Did you even listen to me? I was saying that if it became a pkable server, out of sheer fear and cowardice of loosing some exp and maybe even an item that you guys WOULD NOT take a step outside of your gate.. not if ken people cam into dep all the dep people will kill them.. stop thinking so one track minded.

You guys no NOTHING of dep server.. and how can you? you are trying to collaberate between a combat zone in a pot shop to a pk who has stratagies.. and yes.. BELIEVE me on this PK's have stratagies.

Ok every one who hasn't played ken.

Imagin a whole bunch of people.. with the attitudes of a stuborn cammel who spits on you because it's funny and who has the intelligence in thier comments, with the equivilence to that of a sack of hammers.

Some are nice, some are helpful but most just want to piss you off.

None have been PKed, none have a fear of being pked and none.. absolutely NONE show respect outside of a combat zone..

Then imagin not being able to do any thing about it..

All your power and strength.. and the only way to put them in thier place.. is to try and lure them into a combat zone.

In dep, most assholes get put into place.. so people know thier places and this is a good thing because that way they do not become ken people..

but..

on ken.. the biggest asshole you are the further you get..

you think PK's are assholes, I have helped alot of pk's unchao, kept them company when they're killing zombies, listening to stories of their hunts.

I have played both Ken and Dep and both sides are dumb for arguing over which is better. I liked dep because if you were good enough then you werent bothered and although i play ken now i liked pking ppl who got on my nerves. Ken is fun because you dont have to listen to people...some people are just annoying on there but most are nice and dont act that way. Both sides are arguing about stuff they dont know and those of you that have played both equally probably do not post on here.
