Test Server

Here's a list of the "new" drops reported so far. We can't comment on their frequency because the test server drop frequency is all crazy, but you can guess. Valuable items drop less often. Harder monsters drop more valuable items. That's really the only drop rate rules.

Potion of Mana Regeneration: Harpy, Valley Harpy (from FightDaPower), Beholder, Degenerated Beholder (from Ogre), Ghast, Ghast Lord, Orc Wizard, King Bugbear (from Ryan), Dark Elf (from Trevor), Stone Golem (from Peter), Valley Harpy (from FightDaPower), Floating Eye (from Manzano)
Spellbook (Greater Haste): Cockatrice (from Asclepius), Ettin
Scroll of Enchant Armor:: Island Cockatrice
Power Gloves: Crawling Claw (ss by Darien)

If you have any screenshots of the mana pots or the greater haste book dropping, as well as any drops from Kurtz or any drops from the newbie mops that are very rare (like Blood of Ogre dropping from a Valley Ogre), please send em in! web@lineagecompendium.com

holysmoke. claws drop pg???geez i think i will camp for claws now. but i suppose their drop rate is even less often than droping blood -.-
notice the amount of number of players in test almost double? i think soon test server will switch its mode with dep and ken server, as the normal server sux >.<

PG is made by elf not dropped from mops
so that prooves that someone drooped it when he died claw picked it up or someone gave it to the claw and then killed it.
but of course naive ppl are already camping in the claw tunel lol

Head, just because its elven made doesnt mean NC can't make a mop drop it, and like Vegeto said, elven cloaks and elven breast plates are dropped by mops, and dark elf's drop b-es, and minions of elinder dropped elven bows, so stfu!

You know what. if you dont wanna believe it you dont have too. They do drop them on test. Its at a lower rate then orge drops blood. i dont care if you belive or not. we get this information to you guys cus its useful. if you dont want to belive it, it just hurts you. not us at all. We rarely post false info. so far just the dk/demon set thing and april fools joke. so thats what 1/350 posts are false. if you dont count april fools joke, cus we did that on purpos. 1/699. those odds. wow. and the fact we put that the bonuses for hte sets were just rumors that we doubt are true. kinda makes it 0/700. anyways. believe what you want. but i dont recommend going to hunt claws unstead of orges to get blood. and we dont know if this update is on live servers yet. so i strongly advise not doing it their.

Darien is in my pledge on test. I beleive him. Why would he lie to his pledge and send us all off hunting claws when we could be leveling. But believe me when I say the NCI Dev Team has a better chance of getting laid ;p then you do of getting pq's from claw. I hunted claw from from 6pm - 2am gotta hella lotta gloves but no pg. Made lotta enemies too cuz i attacked anyone that showed up on the TI- MLC path. Unless you own ww and ur always going for Beleth and you happen to get one, you should hunt ogres instead.

yes we all do...even single pumping sux, back before giran, or around that time, pots would flash only once, now they flash twice too(nothing new), this is what causes the new delay on single pumping, you have to wait for the second flash to finish then use another pot, im a newb on test and oranges couldnt keep up against 2 gsas ~.~

I full-heartedly believe that crawling claws drop power gloves. I know these guys at Compendium wouldn't lie -- they double, sometimes triple check their information. If you don't want to believe them, you don't have to. It's not like they're forcing you to believe them...

But yeah, if I was this guy, I'd keep it to myself and be rich =D

i want double pump back. I never thought i used it that much. til I lived without it. Trust me you cant survive the hits of 2 str knights without double pumping. It will be interesting to see how it effects seiges on the live servers.

Looks like the Compendium's posts have led a lot of people to try out test and they've found the higher drop rates to be much more enjoyable and are staying. Maybe NCSoft will draw the obvious conclusion and create a live server with higher drop rates.

LETS HOPE SO DogZilla... I think not as wild drops as in test, but a mid point, will be so much nicer. Right now lineage is just too hard after a point for most people (say, lvl 40 char with all AC maxed out and a +6 weap, or in a mage, the basic spells... any new spell just costs too much and takes too long to save for it).

I hope NCI matures a bit and stop giving all the advantages to knights, further unbalancing the game...)

It's not just that double-pumping is gone. You can't even single pump correctly anymore. You can be holding down your pot key and there is still like a 1-2 second dealy between each pot. It sux. Bad.

ya double pump is gone. and also... you have to wait for the flash after eating the pot is gone before you can eat the other and so on.... -_- so even single pump is gone... everything is slow and sucky

Talk about a real crappy update.

Why is NC-Austin ruining this game? I can't wait for all these new MMORPGs to come out, it will be refreshing to have competition so NC-Austin either listens to it users or deals with losing its ASSets.

18wis mage: 3mp per tick outside inn. With wis pots it's 11mp per tick (very nice at low lvl's) each tick is 20secs. Haven't tried with inn.
I'll try with elf sometime. Not this week, I my final exhibition is up this week, no lineage for me :/

its not every 20 secs, they are 16 (at least when i last checked in december)

Doublepumping is good riddance! Not everyone knew they could, and it takes away much of the point of Oranges and Clears for hunting, and i find that to be wrong.

Drinking a potion should of course take some time..

Test Blue Results on 12.12 int.wis Mage

1 base + 2mp bonus per tick in Field
3 base + 3mp bonus per tick in House

I'm a STR.CON Mage, thus the low Wis.

On Blue in the Field my MP on Test regen's
about the same as my Int.Wis Mage on Dep.

The bad news is how +SoM's been Nurfed,
~AGAIN~ !!!
so these Blues are a futile gesture.

I was reffering to the single pump problem. Now there is to much of a significant delay in between the times you are allowed to pump pots. Its ridiculous.

That sucks that they took away double pumping, that makes hunting boses and siegeing so much harder now. They better bring it back, because this is bs, how are we sopposed to survive in these fights if we can't keep our hp up to compete?

anyone ever think that they mighta just super raised drops, or added extra drops to some mops to help the test server get back on its feet a little bit so they can do a little bit of a test on it?

perhaps, they're treating the wipe sorta like an event, and adding special drops to some mops to aide things a bit...

just a thought o.o

captsturm: We're not discussing bringing Cray's Test. I know the items required for the quest are fairly hard to come by.
captsturm: As far as Kurtz, I know he's a fan favorite. But nothing is planned for him for the near future--but, who knows. :)
