ZDTV Screen Savers
I don't know if anyone saw this, but Richard Garriott was on the TechTV program "Screen Savers" on Tuesday (Aug 13). He was addressing "Good Game Design Essentials" -- have a read:

From my point of view the interview sucked (as a Lineage player). They talked too much about what he has already done (Ultima/UO) & too little of what they are currently working on (Lineage). City of Heroes and Cryptic Studios were never mentioned in the same sentence. Am I wrong or is NC only funding the project? He also liked to flaunt the fact that he lives in a Castle, but is currently building a second one down the street that will be even bigger. Yes we know you are rich you babo -- !!

LB was saying again just in nerdish words that the reson lineage is so good is becuase it turns us into zombies. >.<

Speedlab we are lucky they talked about lineage at all. Its the worst game he talked about. Only good becuase its adictive, but I love it so much t.t

1: lineage is not well balanced...
2: story back ground is essenstial(not sure spelling) for rpg
3: same as #2
4: vets, 3 status: quit, ban, stay; newb, 2 status: play, not play
5: preventing hacking is also an important part of online games
