Level 45 Quest - Knight

Lineage Playforum detailed (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3643) the Level 45 Knight Quest on Test Server.

Playforum commented that this quest was very difficult.

The prizes from this are a Belt of Bravery (AC -1, +30 HP, Knight Only, Material: Leather, Weight: 50). We're confused on the whole invisible Giant thing, more on that as it is figured out.

elf can use there glove and summon.
mage get cloak gives them mp, good use + csom + som = good mp :)
Knigths get a crappy 30hp -1ac belt... I rather use 50hp or 50mp instead of that crap
C'mon so far no knight quest item is useful.. I don't have a single knight quest item in use yet....

1ac and 30 hp is like +50hp -1ac on a knight is very needed on a mage not worth lets say u got -69ac with this -70 makes a lot diff. besides any thing is better than nothing no?

There is clearly some other quest or event planned. The knight gets a key piece and an ancient sword. The elf gets a key piece and an ancient bow. One wonders what the stats are on those weapons. Perhaps there is a locked door somewhere that requires both pieces where the knight and elf can then convert their ancient sword and bow into the final verions, like unsealing the FI sealed items. Perhaps these are for the final level 60 quests. (There are enough lvl 60+ in Korea to warrant such quests, but only a couple here in the US.)

the mage quest is pretty straightforward and, well, easy

Wonder if you have to solo the entire bandit pack (ouch) or just the leader...same with escorting the giant NPC from ToI through packs of giants. Sounds like NC is further encouraging group excursions -- in this case, a knight with several elves as wingmen picking off bandits and giants.

Hate to be a knight w/ 30hp belt once this quest goes live...price will go kaplooey.

bandit pack is easy
if u know how to make them stupid
so u can 1v1 all of them
plus it says the leader only drops it
so no need to kill the others (man the leader drops bad too with the other bandits currently)

I wouldn't be surprised if a lvl 60 quest item is auto-brave
I think a knight would deserve it at that point of the game

at that point i dont think it would matter much, the knight would be so strong/rich anyway, having an item that is auto-brave would just be 1 less thing to worry about

Tempo, not every lvl 45 knight can afford 50hp and 50mp belt.
These are in fact lvl 45 quests. You think they are going to give +100hp belts to every lvl 45 knight in the game?

all Knight quest Items are good so far Rkh Offers most ac for safe zel

RkSheild IS same as ES and it gives 10% Fire Resistance ^_^ Plus 2 Ring of fire 70% fire Resistance and if they ever add elemental resistance to DSM even more Fire REsistance making FS and phoinex Babys to knights

If you can please include information on what belt of bravery clearly does, i know the name gives out alot but its shocking that knights get auto brave which can just make them un stopable.

Also any clue on the stats for Heaven's Sowrd and the elven quest bow, i dont know its name, sorry...

We don't know whether you can enchant the belt or not. If it is possible to enchant the belt to +4 or +5, this belt would KICK BUTT IN YOUR FACE!

the lvl 60 quest should give
knights would get auto-brave belt
elves would get auto-wafer belt
mage would get +100 MP and +2 SP belt
prince would get +5 on all stats belt

now
if this were to come true
unfortunately no one is able to obtain it lol
except for a few lvl 60 knights
or maybe put the damn DS back in the game
and make it the ultimate two-handed weapon for lvl 60 quest
35/35 and enchantable
a weapon worthly of a lvl 60+ knight
hehe

Knights and Elves get some crappy belt, which a potion could easily replace...
Mages get a nice belt...
But Princes(sses) get a belt that Ownz!!!!

Every Mage, Knight & Elf would want a +5 all stats belt...

my fault, if u can include information on other items, however still its very hard enough to hit knights already and -1 ac meaning the belt is enchantable... so basically elfs/mages/princess are more screwed thanks to nc. Knights just seem to get more and more and more powerful.

I personally would stick with my belt of body considering +50 HP sure beats the hell out of -1 AC

look at all the quest items for knights
they all pretty much suck
except for maybe rkh
like many said....
knights r too strong...
so they aren't getting great items like what mages/elves/princes r getting

just because it gives 1ac doesn't mean it's enchantable

elves get some pretty decent gloves, and prince/ss gets a VERY good ring, i'd say that a ring that gives +30 hp is pretty dern good, and if u can use 2 of them that'd be even better....BWAHAHA, +60hp from rings, +50 hp from belt, +20 hp from orc ammy, and there ya go, +130 hp. a lvl 45+ CON prince will easily have well over 600 hp....heh heh heh, maybe now they'll be ready for combat (crap, i said it, now NC will find out somehow and nerf it.)

oh yea, and mages get a decent cloak, but i think it should be enchantable to +6. or give + to mana regen AND something like +2sp, or +2int and wis, or all of them put together. give mages something to look forward to, a reason to level to 45.

K-ZS-M, the trade isn't 50hp or -1 ac, but rather a decison whether you want 20 more hp or the -1ac. And #37, I asked why my post count always stays the same simply because I've noticed that it never changes, NOT because I'd want some stupid posting title or whatever. Don't you ever inquire about the workings of something? Or do you simply wander around accepting everything in life as it is?

I will guarantee to all of you that the belt cannot be enchanted. What would lead anyone to think so? This Belt isn't so great. Most people would prefer to use a Belt of Body or a Ogre belt over this anyways. You know, Auto-brave really wouldn't make you any stronger. You just wouldn't need to pay for braves anymore. My Knight uses braves 24/7. So what's the difference?

I was also thinking...the news will probably be pretty slow for awhile, as I don't think NCSoft has any real plans as to where Lineage is going now. I think it's going to be awhile before we see a new episode (If at all?).

Yeah, if I have two of those new rings, (which I will) a Belt of Body, and an Orc Amulet, my Princess would have 650 HP. That's pretty nice, but HP doesn't really help hunting a lot. Especially not with reduced AC effectiveness. That's just a few hits from a strong monster...But at least I could survive Dragon attacks with that.

Well, Rathorn, most people DO accept things how they are. It's how the world works. If you have a life-threatening disease, what are you going to do? Not accept it and tell it to go away? Oh, the posts though. Sometimes, my number of posts doesn't change either, and sometimes it does.

Amer, when I view this website with Internet Explorer, or whatever other browsers I use, I press back from time to time, and it says the page has expired. How come Lineage Compendium is the only website that ever does this to me?

#52 i doubt there will be another lineage episode here. if they do it will be totally out of their behind.

so most of the news from now on will be levels, changes in gameplay (which will ruin/uber-ize a stat im sure :P ), lineage forever graphical updates, and events. fine by me~

I think there will be more lvl 45+ quests. It makes sense. You dont want every quest on a different level. This woudl make the game better.

So, all those people that had original ideas, and used those ideas to change the world as we know it...they were accepting everything as it was? Wow, what an interesting paradox you've created. I'm so glad I've been englightened. Oh and by the way, many people that are diagnosed with cancer spend a great deal of time INQUIRING about anything and everything they can do to fight it. They don't just sit there and think:"oh, ok, I guess I'll just wait it out."

TheCollector, well obviously it's a programming error somewhere. By asking what was up with my post count, I wasn't demanding a precise answer as to what line of code was defective :P, I merely wanted to bring up the topic for the hell of it. My comment on Arionna's level up to 50:

I was there when she hit level 50 on 6f of Ivory Tower. It was really cool, shes a great friend and always there when my pledge 2SoonJR need help, she came up to me and said, do you have a sosc? I was confused, I thought she was coming over for an earth skin but instead she asked for a sosc. I was a bit confused about for a second because on 6f Ivory Tower players normal hunt without sosc. I handed her the sosc and bam~! A real genuine Bapho Morph right before my eyes. I gave her congrats and a skin ^_^ and she went on her marry way of killing everything in site. PS- Shes the mayor of Oren, big guess as to how? ^_^

Spoiled??? Umm, knights havent gotten anything kool in a while... This belt sux. It was a horrible idea. All it's doing is messing up the economy and making another item worthless. 30hp belts used to sell for 700-800k. Not they are selling for 400k.... I use a 25/25 belt cuz of the low mp and i like to str myself. The last thing knights needed was another useless belt. An original item would have been nice. Like something else to go with the red knight set. But apparently NCI isn't that smart. Surprise Surprise... I am rapidly growing bored of this game. If it wasn't for the great friendship I have with my pledgemates and other friends, I would have already retired...
NCI needs to work on their creativity. If they need suggestions maybe they should actually listen to the people who pay their salaries........

1 ac is better for hunts then 20hp more, atleast i think it is.
And the glove for elf..it doesnt give any hit/str/dex or ac so the glove sux more than the belt for knight, thats just my idea tho
