Level 45 Quest - Elf

Lineage Playforum detailed (http://community.playforum.net:8080/bbs/prog/column?action=read&iid=10051004&kid=3640) the Level 45 Elf quest on Test Server.

The prizes from this are the Spirit Crystal (Summon Greater Elemental) for level 50+ Elves, Gloves of Protection (AC 0, HP +20, MP +10, Elf Only, Material: Leather, Weight: 10), Ancient Piece of Key, Ancient Man's Bow. The latter two items are unknown, but rumor suggests that it will be somehow related to Valok.

K-ZS-M, why do you assume that because the items have Ancient in their names, that you will need a scroll to unseal them? That's just stupid. They're just normal items with Ancient in front of them. I'd even go to say they won't be any good. Who's going to unlock a key, honestly?

lvl.50 crystal... BAH

that one Greater Elemental would have to better
than any summon/tame in the game to be worth it.

why do you suppose most elves stop above 48

greater elemental summon is summoning multiple spirits

u know how u get 1 spirit with lesser summon?

well
u would probably be able to summon 3 of the spirits
that would kick ass
considering the water spirit and 3 of them with 450HP
worth summoning them....hehe

greater summon 1 with super dmg and more hp/ac and hits more i rather have that that 3 cause u get more exp with 1 than 3 remember that o well nc maid me quit my elf lvled a knight from 1-48 in 2 weeks the pain la still i will do the quest with a +6xbow which my knight has cause i got bored of getting nai at the animal event and noone bought em for 70k so pop 6 with an xbow.

what u expect?
a spirit that does 50 - 100 damage per hit with 1000HP and -50 AC?

considering the amount of lvl 50 elves on korean servers
as well as the growing number on live servers
it will throw the balance completely off as the game is already off-balance in some sections

u're an elf, u're not going to rely on the spirit to do all the damage for u
like the spirits we have now
do u rely on the spirit on doing all the killing for u?
I doubt it, so u would gain the most exp
like mages
most would rely on summons to kill the mops considering mages don't inflict as much damage as elves would
plus a spirit that does super damage would steal all the exp as well

I would say this elf quest is definitely worth it for the gloves and crystal if u're a FI hunter such as myself.....^_^

but all these assumptions
we'll have to see what is reported

2 carn rings = +8hp
gloves of pro= +20hp
belt of body = +50hp
shield of eva= +20hp
orc ammy = +20hp
con elf lvl48 base hp = +500hp

618hp on loa, 610 on dep/ken~

This is just a little note...

Last time I tested it for some reason I lost 0 xp from a summon doing almost all the damage. My other friends who are elves also claim to get FULL xp even when summons do damage. And even if not, whoever said a godly spirit would cause unbalance... YOUR AN IDIOT!

1 summon with good hp/ac/damage, however probably still about same speed as the current spirits vs 3 KBB's with haste. The KBBs WILL win. And heck, this is a LEVEL 50 REQUIRED SPELL, it should be damn good! Besides, as for balance vs the mages, look at ROSC, now they can get Dire Wolves, how is that for balance? This is just keeping the summons relatively equal.

Ever read the help menu in Lineage? Greater Elemental is only 1 Element, it's a bigger version of the "lesser" elemental. So most likely more storage capacity and better hit ratio, higher damage, etc... odds are this summon will be lvl 50. Since, if you've looked the lvl 30 one... is well... lvl 30 lol

Oh and that I remember, Amer had some sprites up for the Greater Elemntals a WHILE back when he first got those sprites from that Korean guy that had been sending him sprites... (god I'm beginning to hate that word).

Yes, K-SZ-M... that is what I expect.
It's Summon Greater Elemental... not Greater Elemental Summon. Therefor, it would be fairly logical to assume that it summons one elemental which is essentially "greater".

BTW those gloves are ridiculous. That's essentially +120hp for a level 50+ elf. You figure out why.

exp is not based on damage, its based on hits, read LC and they will explain it in depth.

Morticae : its not +120 hp, its +20, I know what you are trying to say but that is not the purpose of base hps...

All: Greater Elemental Summon is ONE summon, it is stronger, and faster than the Lesser summons, the Sprites for the greaters summons were on LC a long time ago, just no one knew what they were. Earth, Fire, Sort of genie type looking things were on LC, it was stated they believed they had something to do with the new elven quest (the lv 30 one) but they were actually the lv 50 summon. They are supposed to be stronger, how much I don't know, more hp? logically but I don't know, when this quest goes live we'll just all go learn it and look huh ;P

+20 HP is great

+20 gloves
+20 orc ammy
+50 HP belt
= +90 HP bonus for elf
very useful in my eyes
or for those lucky ones with an eva shield
+110 HP

that is y hunting with summons/pets get u less exp
cuz your summons/pets do the most hits or damage towards the mop
it is different for elves cuz elves have bows and do the most damage before your summon/pet reaches to the mop u're attacking
meanign u would get the most exp out of the mop

whatever the summon may be
very little of us will be able to use it lol
guess those lvl 50+ elves we got on live servers will be testing that out for us when it comes to live...hehe

I'm still curious about what mop drops summon ring
I wanna summon skeleton fighters...
sure beats the hell out of kbbs with their speed....^_^
or gargoyles.....
wonder if there r gargoyles in the game or not....
cuz I can't find them anywhere.....

Did I say base HP? No, I said +120HP. In the same way that carrying a red pot is +~15HP. I think it's fairly apparent that I knew what I was talking about.

lvl 45 quest gives you a lvl 50 spell o.O because going from lvl 45 to lvl 50 is like getting to 45, about 4 times if i remember correctly. I could easily be wrong it's been a while.

getting to lvl 49 to 50
is basically
lvl 48 to 49...roughly 4 times
so if u can lvl from 48 to 49 with ease
u can lvl to lvl 50 with ease

if it was like lvl 1 to 45...4 times
everyone would be lvl 50+ now lol

I love these quests! I love being an elf! I despise dying on FI! (Yea I died yesterday because I stayed up too long to play and got done in by 2 Dark Elves and a Ghast... Boo :p closed my eyes with my finger off clears then I opened them with the Restart/Quit/Cancel screen up and me down LoL! Anyhow I think dying once in a while is the same as these quests! It is a Good thing! I feel it keeps things interesting, because when you die you get mad and go on a mission to regain the lost exp(be damned if I am gonna waste over 250k for 4% back LoL) and then some. The same principle applies with the quests; new items + more things to do = more fun with Lineage!
I am indifferent on my standings with the Items. I am sure that the gloves will be good for dex elves, but I will stick with my bracer! I hope that the Elven Ancient Key will be linked with the Knight's Ancient Key for an allied race quest for Knights & Elves. I hope that this is the case, because then I believe that the Heaven's Sword & Man's Bow will be unlocked or something as part of the allied quest!
Perhaps even Mages and Royals could have an allied quest too! Just think of the possibilities that NC has left open for themselves, and for us too! I am sure that I am not the first to have thought about a combined quest but I am positive that if you hadn't thought of it, it will be rolling through your mind now! So come on NC, make my humble assumption into a reality that will please MANY of your customers!

ok, first off its ancient PIECE of key, not the whole key. second, what do you mean the gloves of pro will only benefit con elves? +20 hp helps any elf doesnt it? my dex elf is always in need of hp. and 10 mp might help a bit. u can choose between bracers, gloves of pro, or pgs now. all are only able to be enchanted to +4(even tho ALL are elven made) - see the pattern? basically, an 18 con elf would most likely want a pair of pgs for the extra dmg. a combo elf of con/dex might want the bracer for bow dmg, an 18 dex elf would go for bracer or gloves of pro, str elves would go for pgs or gloves of pro(can we call them gops? ^^). still going to be personal preferences tho.

i have no idea about the man's bow...could be good could be bad. or it could be a part of something else....(a woman's bow too? combine them and get uber-bow?)

also, i think this quest will be fairly easy...kill a succumbus(could be harder than a normal one, i dont know) and then kill a sea dancer? sounds pretty simple for a 45+ elf. i could be wrong or i could have mis-read it but from the post it sounds simple.
