Stats Explanation

CON (Constitution)

  • Your base CON affects HP gained when you level up.
  • Your total CON affects HP regeneration rate.
  • Your total CON affects the total weight that you can carry with STR.
  • Effect of CON on HP level up

Based on the results that we have seen, the mean HP change per level is influenced by your CON. The HP you get on a level up *or* level down is calculated by the same formula, which depends on your CON.

We did extensive testing on a CON 14 knight and we discovered that the level up formula is based on a Gaussian distribution with a standard deviation of 1.25 and a mean of N, where N changes based on your CON. For CON 14, N is 9. For CON 18, N is 12.

Here is what a Gaussian distribution means in terms of percent chance:
    CON N - 3N - 2N - 1  N  N + 1N + 2N + 3
    prob. 1.8%8.9%23.2%31.9%23.2%8.9%1.8%
So, for CON 14, you plug in 9 and you get that the probability of getting 9 + 1, or 10 on a level up or level down is 23.2%. This formula only works for knights.

The table below is our findings through hundreds of level ups/downs and those of Lineage3D on HP gains per level.
average HP increase/decrease per level up/down
    CON 10 11  12  13  14  15  16  17  18
    Prince7.58.59.510.5
    Knight 9101112
    Elf 7.58.59.510.5
    Mage 4.55.56.57.5

Based on your CON and class, there is also a range of HP you can get. There is not an even chance of getting a certain HP (as we stated above). You have the best probability of landing right in the middle. The range is not an estimate, it is absolute. You will never get a level up outside this range.

    Mage 3 - 64 - 75 - 86 - 9

Effect of CON on HP regeneration rate Your HP regeneration increases based on your level and CON. We're still collecting data on different class, CON and level and their effect on HP regeneration. Here's the data collected so far:
HP regeneration by class, level and CON
    Level11151628304748
    CON 10 Mage1 HP/3 sec
    CON 12 Mage1 HP/3 sec
    CON 18 Mage1-6 HP/3 sec
    CON 13 Elf1 HP/3 sec
    CON 18 Elf2-5 HP/3 sec1-6 HP/3 sec
    CON 15 Prince1-3 HP/3 sec
    CON 18 Prince2-5 HP/3 sec
    CON 14 Knight1-2 HP/3 sec1 HP/2 sec
    CON 18 Knight1-7 HP/2 sec

    * HP takes twice as long to regenerate when you are moving (for example, if you regenerate at 4 HP every 31 seconds, it will take 4 HP every 62 seconds when moving)

** We did notice that for every class, at level 47+, each additional CON point above 18 increases the max HP per tick by 1. For example, we say that a CON 18 elf regenerates 1-6 HP every 3 seconds. Therefore, a CON 20 elf would regenerate 1-8 HP every 3 seconds, and so on.

Effect of CON on how much you can carry

Each class behaves the same way when it comes to carrying capacity. That is, an 18 STR, 16 CON mage and an 18 STR, 16 CON knight can both carry the exact same amount. The following chart shows the capacity of each combination of STR and CON in meats. Please multiply the numbers in the chart by 10 in order to determine the true carrying total.

The formula is pretty clear from this:

  • Take STR + CON + 1 and divide by 2.
  • Round this number to the nearest whole number.
  • Multiply by 150.

    For example, my mage is STR 9 and CON 10. Thus, the formula would be ( 9 + 10 + 1 ) / 2 = 10
Multiply by 150 = 1500, So I can carry a total of 1500 worth of stuff before I get to 100%.
